Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a jet gun constituted so as to reduce the load of a worker against injection reaction without exerting an adverse influence upon safety, by providing a single push metal contacted with a slider in place of the grip and the trigger in a high pressure water jet gun. CONSTITUTION:A push metal 77 contacted with a slider 12 is provided in place of the grip and the trigger of a conventional high pressure water jet gun and the other structure is as usual. The push metal 77 is pivotally mounted to a main body 1 in the piercing traverse recessed part 1a of the main body 1 by a fulcrum 18 and has both functions of the grip and the trigger and the gun is held by holding the push metal 77 by the hand. When high pressure water is injected from a jet nozzle, the push metal 17 is revolved around the fulcrum 18 to push the slider 12 to right against the force of a compression spring 14 and a valve body 9 is separated from a valve seat 10 to open a high pressure water passage. At this time, injection reaction acts so as to move the main body 1 to the direction opposite to an injection direction but continuous injection is enabled if a worker hold the push metal 77 while receives the injection reaction. The position of the fulcrum 18 is selected so that the push metal 17 pushes the slider 12 to the right when the main body 1 moves to the right by injection reaction.

It is well known that the kinetic energy of water jetted from this type of high-pressure water jet gun is applied to cleaning or cutting objects. It is also well known to perform controls such as stopping the injection of high-pressure water or branching and reducing the injection pressure. The above-mentioned circuit breaker is called a pistol, a gun, or a gun because its shape resembles a gun, and will be referred to as a gun below. Guns can be roughly divided into two types: injection stop type pigs that stop the injection of high pressure water, and branch pressure reduction type pigs that reduce the pressure of high pressure water.
Although their dimensions, shapes, and configurations vary, all guns have the following points in common:

a. It must be able to withstand the pressure of the high-pressure water used. If you pull the trigger, the high-pressure water will be injected. C0. If you release the trigger, the jet will stop or the pressure will be reduced. d. High-pressure water injection Extra high-pressure water injection In order for the person holding the gun (hereinafter referred to as the "worker") to continuously jet high-pressure water to perform high-pressure water application work such as cleaning or cutting, the person holding the gun must constantly hold the gun. The operator has to keep pulling the trigger and endure the recoil of the jet, which requires physical strength and ability and places a heavy burden on the worker. In order to reduce the physical burden of continuously pulling the trigger, guns have been developed in which the trigger of the gun is fixed with iron wire or the like, or a trigger lock device is installed. Fixing is currently prohibited as it does not seriously affect safety.

The present invention proposes a high-pressure water injection gun that reduces the burden on the operator due to injection recoil without adversely affecting safety. The present invention eliminates the need for the operator to continuously pull the trigger by utilizing the recoil generated by the injection as a force to continue pulling the trigger of the gun.

The barrel portion 2 is provided with a conduit 7 for guiding high pressure to the injection nozzle at the tip, and this conduit 7 is connected to the connection portion 6 through a hollow portion 1b provided in the main body 1. Reference numeral 8 represents a packing portion which will be described later. A valve body 9 is mounted in the hollow part 11) so as to be slidable in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the main body 1, and a conical head 9a of the valve body 9 is attached to the main body 1 at the inner end of the barrel part 2. The valve seat 1o can be brought into contact with the valve seat 1o. Cylindrical rear part 9 of the valve body 9
b is slidably mounted within the four correspondingly shaped cylindrical parts of the hollow part 1b. In this case, the cross-sectional area of the head 9a of the valve body 9 is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the rear part 9b, and as a result, when high-pressure water exists in the hollow portion 1b, the valve body 9 is : will be biased to move to the right by a differential pressure equal to the product of .

A hole 12a is provided on the rear side of the slider 12, and this stopper plate is used as a hole in this as well as a stopper plate 16! One end of a compression spring 14 is contained in the bottom of the spring 11. Stopper plate 1
3 is joined to a connecting rod 15, and the connecting rod 15 passes through the slider 12, the center part of the main body 1 in the horizontal recess 1a, and the packing part 8, and comes into contact with the rear part 9b of the valve body 9. prevents the high-pressure water in the hollow portion 1b from leaking to the outside through the penetrating portion of the connecting rod 15. The other end of the spring 14 is in contact with a stopper piece 16 screwed into the rear end opening of the main body of the vertical section 1C, and as a result, the action of the spring 14 causes the slider 1 to

When attempting to spray high-pressure water from the spray nozzle, use the fingers of the hand holding the grip 6 to pull the trigger 4 toward the grip B as shown in Figure 2. At this time, the joint protrusion 4a of the trigger 4 moves the slider 12 to the right with a large force under the action of leverage, against the action of the spring 14, and as a result, the stopper plate 13 moves to the right. The valve body 9 follows the rightward movement of the stopper plate 13 together with the connecting rod 15 due to the differential pressure described above, and thus the high pressure water circuit opens.
High pressure water is ejected from the ejection nozzle.

The buckle 17 has both the functions of a grip and a trigger, and the gun is held by holding the pushbutton 17 in the hand. When attempting to inject high-pressure water from the injection nozzle, rotate the pusher 17 around the fulcrum 18 and use the connecting protrusion 17a to push the slider 12 to the right against the force of the compression spring 14. As described for the conventional high-pressure water injection gun, the valve body 9 is separated from the valve seat 10 to open the high-pressure water circuit (see FIG. 4). Injection is thus started. At this time, the injection reaction force acts to try to move the main body 1 in a direction opposite to the injection direction. The worker
As long as the presser bar 17 is held while receiving the injection reaction force described above, the state shown in FIG. 4 is maintained and continuous injection is possible. This state will continue unless the pusher 17 is held to stop receiving the nozzle 1 reaction force.

The position of the fulcrum 18 of the pusher 17 is adjusted to the position of the main body 1 due to the injection reaction force.

When the injection reaction is received by the pusher 17 (11-), the state shown in FIG. 3 is achieved due to the action of the spring 14, and the valve body 9 contacts the valve seat 10, cutting off the Takada water circuit and stopping the injection.

As mentioned above, by applying the reaction force that occurs with high-pressure water injection, the present invention eliminates the need for the grip force required to continue pulling the trigger, which was previously required, and significantly reduces operator fatigue. Safety is improved as there is no need to lock the trigger in order to continue firing, and furthermore, if the hand or body leaves the gun, there is no force to receive the jet recoil, so the jet immediately stops or depressurizes. It has the advantage of high safety. Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the type or configuration of the gun, and can therefore be applied not only to injection stop type guns, but also to branch vacuum type readings that reduce the pressure of high-pressure water by opening the pressure reduction circuit. Moreover, the type of presser metal can be hand-held, chest-piece type, shoulder-rest type, etc.
