そしてこのフィードチェーン2の上方には、挾持杆6に
支持され圧縮コイルばね7によつてフィードチェーン2
側へ付勢された挾扼杆8が設けられており、刈取機の搬
送装置から引継がれた殻稈の根元部をフィードチェーン
2との間で挾持して搬送するように構成されている。一
方、収穫作業において、圃場の周囲や地形の関係で機械
刈りの不可能な場合には、手刈りを行ない、これを手扱
き作業によつて脱穀しなければならない。そしてこの手
扱き作業の場合には、殻稈を手で持つてフィードチェー
ン2と挾扼杆8との間へ供給してやらなければならず、
この場合、挾扼杆8の先端部が邪魔になるので、従来か
らこの箇所を開閉自在に形成して手扱き時に開放するよ
うに構成されている。そして従来における開閉装置は、
図に示すごとく挾扼杆8の先端部に枢着された回動挾扼
杆9をコ字状の固定ロッド10て支持させたものであつ
て、手扱き作業時には、固定ロッド10を圧縮コイルば
ね11の弾撥力に抗して引つ張つて回動挾扼杆9との係
合を解き、回動挾扼杆9を図に鎖線で示すように回動さ
せたのち、固定ロッド10を孔12から孔13へと差し
換えることによつて回動挾扼杆9を開放させていた。ま
た、閉塞時にはこの逆手順が必要であつた。このように
、従来の開閉装置は、開閉操作のた・めに両手を使用し
なければならず、また固定ロッド10を孔12、13に
合わせるがむつかしくて、作業が煩わしいばかりでなく
、振動等によつて固定ロッド10が外れ易いという欠点
があつた。本発明は以上のような点に鑑みなされたもの
て、主挾扼杆の先端部に枢着した回動挾扼杆の長孔に、
おなじく主挾扼杆に枢着した固定ロッドの先端部を摺動
自在に係合させるとともに、ばね部 −材により回動挾
扼杆を起立と情状との2方向へ選択的に付勢させること
により、機械扱きと手扱きとの切替時における回動挾扼
杆の開閉を片手の操作できわめて容易かつ確実に行なう
ことを可能ならしめた脱穀機の殻稈搬送装置を提供する
ものである。
