駆動により順次巻取る巻取機構部と、前記ばねの変位量
を検出するセンサ部と、前記可撓性連続体に加える得る
荷重の大きさを定める荷重設定部と、前記センサ部の検
出出力及び前記荷重設定部の設定値の相互を比較し、こ
の比較結果に応じて前記巻取機構部のモータをオンオフ
制御する駆動制御部とを具備した零バランサにおいて、
前記可撓性連続体を監視して張力が閾値以下まで低下し
たことを検出する張力検出手段と、該張力検出手段によ
り張力低下を検出したとき、及び/又は前記巻取機構部
のモータの駆動電源がオフとなったとき、そのモータ発
電ブレーキとして機能させ得るたるみ抑制手−段と、前
記巻取機構部のモータが駆動開始又は駆動再開される際
、そのモータのトルクが徐々に前記荷重設定部の設定値
まで到達するように機能する時定数調整手段とを有す名
