Conventionally, a general medical suture needle has been previously connected and fixed to one end of a suture thread, and such nailed suture threads have been wound one by one into a ring and stored in a sealed bag.

For this reason, when suturing, the bag must be torn open and taken out one by one, which is extremely troublesome. The suturing process requires the breathing (rhythm) between the doctor and the assistant who is helping them.
The task of an assistant taking out suture threads one by one from a bag and handing them to the doctor tends to disrupt the above-mentioned rhythm.

Moreover, since the suture thread is stored in a loop, the suture thread may become kinky, which may impede the suturing operation.

The above-mentioned problem is particularly noticeable when suturing coronary artery anastomoses or artificial heart valves, which require the use of extremely small microneedles and extremely fine threads.Furthermore, in such cases, the conventional method may cause the threads to become tangled when unwinding from the thread. There were also difficulties such as knots forming in the threads.

This invention aims to provide a case for a medical suture needle set that solves the above-mentioned problems. In particular, it is a double-ended needle (suture needles are placed at both ends of a certain length of thread) that is extremely convenient for the above-mentioned surgeries. The present invention relates to a case suitable for a set of attached items.

Figure 2 A and B show the storage plate 3 and the string 2 with nails on both ends.
This is a plan view showing a specific example of the storage plate 3. As shown in the figure, the storage plate 3 has both longitudinal ends diagonally arranged so that it can be easily pulled out from inside the case body 1 and the lengths of the strings 2 that can be stretched are the same. It is trimmed in the direction.

Reference numeral 6 denotes a hook-side end locking portion of the thread 2, which is located outside the window hole 18 and cut in the shape of a fishhook at intervals in the width direction along the trimming slope of the end of the plate. As shown in Figure B, the ends of the thread to which the arc-shaped needles 7 are fixed are aligned, and the fishhook-shaped locking part is pushed up from the back side to be locked or clamped there (see Figure 3).

On the other hand, at the opposite end of the storage plate 3, there are notches 8 for locking or clamping the electrodeposition curved end, the number of which corresponds to the needle side end locking portions 6.
As shown in FIG. 3, the bent end of the thread 2 is passed through the cut 8 and locked therein.

A circular hole 8' is formed in communication with the inner part of the notch 8, so that the needle 7 of the thread 2, which is locked in the needle side end locking part 6, can be clamped with a needle holder (centered as shown). Remove it from the locking part 6 and pull it toward the needle side end so that the bent side of the thread 2 is aligned with the circular hole 8.
This is to prevent the bent side from getting caught in the notch and becoming difficult to remove.

FIG. 4 is a developed view of the case body 1, with an outer folding piece 9 divided into approximately equal parts in the width direction, and an inner folding piece 9 so that the storage plate 3 can be freely inserted and removed in the folded state. It has a bent piece 10 and a bottom piece 11.

In this case, the plate end pressing pieces 12 and 13 at both ends of the bottom piece 11 of the case body 1 are bent so as to overlap with the bottom piece 11 and pressed by the bending pieces 9 and 10.

That is, first the first storage plate 3 is stored at the needle side end (or needle thread take-out end) of the storage plate 3, and then it is held down by the presser piece 12, and the second storage plate is placed on top of it. Plate 3 is inserted.

This difference is because the needle protrudes from the surface of the plate at the needle side end, so if they overlap each other, it is easy to get tangled with others, and when the upper plate is pulled out, the needle is placed on the plate to prevent this from happening. This is for the following reasons: Not only does this inconvenience not occur at the opposite end, but it is also more convenient to use when stored together.

To take out the suture set as described above, first, open and raise the plate removal opening/closing part 14.15 at the end of the case main body 1 at each perforation 16.17 and raise it outward. The first storage plate 3 is pulled out by a certain distance in the direction of the arrow as shown in FIG. 1, and the thread 2 is removed together with the needle 7 as required by the method already described.

After all the threads on the first storage plate have been used, pull out the plate, open the end presser piece 12 outward in the longitudinal direction, and pull out the second storage plate 3 by a certain length in the same manner as described above. Use the thread in the same way as for the second piece.

Moreover, in the storage plate for tensioning the thread, there is a circular hole in the back of the notch for thread locking, so when the suture thread is pulled, it is locked in the notch for thread locking. can be smoothly passed through the circular hole, and it is possible to reliably prevent the occurrence of getting caught in the notch and not being able to remove it.

Furthermore, since the nailed suture thread is tensioned linearly along the longitudinal direction of the elongated storage plate, there is no problem of the thread forming a loop-like habit.

Therefore, the surgical operation can be performed very quickly, accurately, and easily, and it has the advantage of reliably preventing the occurrence of knots due to thread entanglement, deflection, etc. during suturing work.
