ボス部材を取り付け、該ボス部材の一端に形成された鍔
部に複数の溝部を放射状に穿設し、該溝部にボールを遊
嵌させ、該ボールの一部が嵌合可能な球面凹部を該軸の
外周面に形成し、該ボールと当接してこれを該球面凹部
に対して押圧するよう形成された傾斜面を有するテーパ
ースラストリングを該ボス部材の外周に軸方向摺動可能
に取り付け、入力軸及び出力軸のいずれか他方に連結さ
れたフランジを該鍔部に固定し、該フランジの端面と該
傾斜面によって該ボールを該溝部内に保持するとともに
、該ボス部材に取り付けられた加圧力調整手段に一端が
固定されたスプリングによって該テーパースラストリン
グを加圧して該ボールを該球面凹部に押圧し、該ボール
が該球面凹部に一部嵌合した状態で該入力軸の上下運動
を該出力軸に伝達する一方、該出力軸の過負荷状態で該
糸−ルが該テーパースラストリングを摺動させて該嵌合
が外れ該入力軸と該出力軸の間の伝達を遮断してなるこ
とを特徴とする過負高安全装置。
