PURPOSE:To operate an extension easily by displaying the state of the extension or its available operation sequentially on a display device in accordance with the subscriber's operation of the extension stored in a PABX (private automatic branch exchange). CONSTITUTION:The display unit DU is connected to an extension STA stored in the PABX and a channel SW and a subscriber's circuit LC are controlled by information from a central controller CC in accordance with the operation of the extension subscriber and the subscriber's state is sent to a display unit control part DUC.
