して透明パネルが、上記フラットパネルに対して上記金
属枠によって規定される間隔をもって対向されて上記フ
ラットパネルと上記透明パネルとの間に液密空間が形成
され、該液密空間内に透明液状冷却媒体が封入され、上
記金属枠の内周から完全にその全周に渡って透明パネル
と上記フラットパネルとの間の中間部において上記液状
冷却媒体内に浸漬されて該液状冷却媒体と直接接触する
突出部が上記金属枠と一体に設けられ、該突出部によっ
て上記螢光面周間から管内の光が漏出して上記陰極線管
の前方から観察されることがないよう遮蔽した陰極線管
装置。
