Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a rubber packing material which can be swollen by water and has an excellent water-stopping effect, by molding a mixture of a rubber component, a water-absorbing resin and an inflating agent and vulcanizing molding. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. unvulcanized rubber component (A) (e.g. natural rubber, a styrene/butadiene rubber or an ethylene/propylene rubber) contg. a crosslinking agent, 10-100pts.wt. water-absorbing resin (B) (e.g. a starch polymer or a polyvinyl alcohol polymer) non-compatible with the rubber component and 10- 200pts.wt. lime/gypsum inflating agent (C) (e.g. a lime inflating agent or a calcium sulfoaluminate inflating agent) non-compatible with the rubber component and the water-absorbing resin, are kneaded together. The resulting compsn. is molded into the desired shape by a press and vulcanized to obtain a rubber packing material (water stopping material).

重量%を適当とする。

装着し九直後からバッキング材の膨張によって自然に内
圧がかかつて、よシ優れた止水材能及び封止機能を発揮
して長期的な止水効果を上げることが出来る。
