4,4′上に第1段目の台付のし瓦7,7′を載層せし
める場合、面戸6の上端面に平坦面8,8′・・・を薮
せしめると共に台付のし瓦7,7′を手前に引いて面戸
6の後面に突片9,9′・・・を当接せしめるのみで棟
部1の基礎となる台付のし瓦7,7′を桟瓦4,4′に
対して定位層に安定よく教壇せしめることが出来、且つ
台付のし瓦7,7′は台部10,10′・・・の厚みに
より傾斜状に姿勢保持されるため雨水の返し作用を良好
ならしめることが出来、又台付のし瓦7,7′上に前記
水返し突条12の後部に掛止する掛止突部14,14′
・・・を底面に有し、表面略中央位置長手方向には水返
し段部15を形成せしめると共に該水返し段部15の縦
方向上部長手方向に水返し突条16を一体的に形成せし
めたのし瓦13,13′を掛止する様にして戦層せしめ
、更に該のし瓦13,13′上に他ののし瓦を同様に載
層せしめ、頂部には丸瓦18を両側ののし瓦上面の水返
し段部15の外方間に載層せしめる様にして冠せたので
、各段ののし瓦13,13′・・・間及び頂部ののし瓦
と丸瓦18との間に雨水が侵入しても水返し段部11,
15にて阻止せしめることが出釆、更に強風時において
雨水が勢い良く吹き込む場合は水返し段部11,15に
てその勢いを著しく衰弱せしめて水返し段部11,15
を越えた雨水の浸入防止を図る水返し突条12,16の
水返し作用を完壁ならしめることが出来、又構造が敦直
頚止式であるため熟練者によらずとも棟部1の施工は短
時間にして簡易に行わしめることが出来、又施工された
棟部は暴風雨等によっても雨水の侵入を完全に防止し位
置がずれたり落下したりすることなく長年の使用に充分
耐え得るものである等その実用的効果甚だ大なるもので
ある。
