Conventionally, caulking methods and electric welding methods have been employed as methods for attaching terminal bodies to capacitor terminal plates made of rubber-attached Bakelite or the like. The crimping method involves passing a cross-shaped glue pet through the terminal board from the back side, pressing the base of the lug terminal into the penetrating end, and in this state pressing the rivet end into a head shape using a press machine. This method roughly attaches the lug terminal and the lug terminal to the terminal board in a state where they are mechanically and electrically connected to each other. On the other hand, in the electric welding method, a headed rivet is passed through the lug terminal base, and the IJ pet head is electrically welded to the lug terminal base with the rivet passed through the terminal plate from the front side.

Thereafter, the rivet is fixed to the terminal plate by forcibly pushing a washer into the terminal plate or into the pet shaft. However, the crimping method described above has the disadvantage that the contact between the rivet and the lug terminal becomes loose, which tends to cause poor electrical contact.

In addition, although the electric welding method provides good electrical contact, it requires two steps: welding and caulking by pressing in the washer as described above, which increases costs and reduces productivity. was inferior to By the way, in this electric welding method, it is possible to omit the crimping step by passing the cross-shaped rivet used in the crimping method through the terminal plate from the back side and electrically welding the lug terminal to the penetrating end. However, unless pressure is applied to the rivet by caulking, sufficient adhesion between the rivet and the terminal board cannot be achieved, resulting in poor sealing inside the capacitor, which can cause so-called liquid leakage, especially in electrolytic capacitors. There is a problem. In view of the above circumstances, the present invention
An object of the present invention is to provide a method and device for assembling a terminal body to a capacitor terminal plate, which allows simultaneous caulking and fixing of a rivet and lug terminal to the terminal plate, and electrical welding of the rivet and lug terminal to the terminal plate. The structure is as follows. The method of the present invention involves attaching the rivet to the terminal board on the lower side (
Set these on the lower mold with a lug terminal attached to the penetrating end, bring the upper mold closer to the lower mold, and insert the caulking pin equipped on the upper mold. The rivet and lug terminal are caulked and fixed to the terminal board by crushing the pet end portion to form a head, and at the same time as this caulking is completed, a cylindrical shape concentrically arranged around the outer circumference of the caulking pin is attached. The rivet head and the lug terminal are electrically welded by passing a welding current through an electrode to the contact portion between the rivet head and the lug terminal.
