Abstract

PURPOSE:To confirm the correct sound recording for data signals by connecting the output signal of a delay circuit to a comparator together with a reproduced signal and actuating an alarm device by said comparator when a difference larger than a prescribed value is produced between said output and reproduced signals. CONSTITUTION:For a 3-head type tape recorder, the record signal is supplied from an input terminal 8 to a sound record amplifier 3 to be amplified and recorded on a tape 10 by a recording head 1. A reproduction head 2 reproduces the magnetic signal of the tape 10 and supplies it to a reproduction amplifier 4. This amplified signal is supplied to an output terminal 9 as well as to a comparator 6. Then the record signal is supplied to the comparator 6 through a delay circuit 5. When both signals having the time coincidence with each other are led to the comparator 6, the difference is obtained between these signals. It is decided that the signals are recorded correctly as long as said difference is equal to zero. Thus no output is delivered to an alarm device.
