In view of the strong demand in recent years, the present inventor has proposed a rational and economical method for transporting marine products such as live fish (Special Publication No. 57-520).
1 inch), that is, in this method, as shown in Figure 1,
The target marine product 4 is transported by mixing it into a container 1 in which a number of pieces of hydrous foam material 3, which have a specific gravity smaller than that of ice, are immersed in water or sea ice 2, and the foam material pieces 3 are good. Due to the buffering effect and air replenishment effect, the fishery product 4 is characterized by very favorable conditions for survival and protection.

This method can be widely used for various types of seafood, but when transporting live fish 4 as shown in Figure 1, the only problem that needs to be improved is the following. It turned out.

This is because the live fish 4 become easily damaged due to friction between the foam material piece 3 used as a guard piece and the live fish 4.

On the other hand, the foamed material piece 3 is porous like a sponge, and has a rough surface as shown in an enlarged view in FIG.

However, during transportation, the two constantly come into contact with each other and rub against each other, which causes a phenomenon in which the necessary slime is taken away from the live fish 4, which in turn has a negative effect on the survival and protection conditions of the live fish 4.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, this invention was made for the purpose of providing an improved guard piece that can accurately eliminate the above-mentioned problems without degrading the original characteristics of the foamed material piece 3.

Next, regarding the method of covering the foam material piece 3 with the film 5, the film 5 and the foam material piece 3 may be packaged separately as shown in FIG. 4, or the film 5 and the foam material piece 3 may be packaged separately as shown in FIG. Similarly, the film 5 may be integrally applied to the surface of the foamed material piece 3.

As described above, since the guard piece according to this invention is made by covering a piece of water-containing foam material 3 with a film 5 having a smooth surface, this guard piece is used when transporting live fish 4 as shown in Fig. 1. If the container 1 is filled with the foam, the inconvenient problem caused by the foamed material pieces 3 and the live fish 4 rubbing against each other as described above can be accurately solved.

Further, since the film 5 is provided with through holes 6 and 7 at an appropriate number of locations, the original characteristics of the foamed material piece 3 are not impaired.

At this time, rails 9 are placed on the container floor at appropriate intervals in advance.
9 is laid down, and on the other hand, wheels 10, 10 are attached to the container 1 used at the lowest level, and the containers 1, 1 are stacked in multiple tiers.
It would be convenient if the nursery surface could be moved.
