Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily load partition business-sheets, etc. by installing a shelf for exclusive use for interruption collation so as to be taken-out in the direction perpendicular to a transport passage on the upstream side of a collation shelf and installing an accommodated paper size varying means onto the above-described shelf, if necessary. CONSTITUTION:On the most upstream side of a business-sheet transport passage having a sorter transport belt 2 in a collation apparatus 49, a shelf 35 exclusively used for interruption collation is installed so as to be taken-out in the direction perpendicular to the direction of shift of the belt 2. Said shelf 32 is supported by the slidable members 45 installed on the both sides of the shelf, and when the shelf is taken out, a paper feeding means 32 for collation is retreated from the operation position. An accommodated paper size varying means 48 is installed on to the exclusively used shelf 35 so as to be shiftable right and left. In interruption collation mode, the business-sheet feeding means 32 for collation is driven, and the paper sheet 36 for interruption collation on the exclusively used shelf 35 is fed onto the sorter transport belt 2 through a deflecting member 34 for cassette and supplied in distribution onto each collation shelf 8.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Field of Application) The present invention relates to a single-paper device that can be used for one interrupt, and in particular, can feed a sheet of paper for one interrupt at an arbitrary timing to meet one interrupt. This is related to the number of interruptions that can be made to the purchase of paper.

Note that the paper is attracted to the sorter conveyor bells 1 and 2 as follows:
This is because a suction tank 3 is provided inside the sorter conveyor belt 2 and communicates with a hole drilled in the sorter conveyor belt 2, and the suction tank 3 is sucked by a suction pump 4.

Reference numeral 5.5' denotes a pair of feed screw rods arranged in parallel along the paper conveyance direction on both sides of the sorter conveyance belt 2, and each feed screw rod 5,5' has a nut 6°6'. The ends of a movable plate 7 are fixed to these nuts 6 and 6', and the movable plate 7 is suspended horizontally between the nuts 6 and 6'.

The feed screw rod 5 is connected to a drive source 11 such as a reversible motor via a clutch mechanism 10. Further, the feed screw rods 5 and 5' are connected via a timing belt 13 stretched between pulleys 12 and 12' so that they rotate in the same direction and at the same speed.

A solenoid 14 controls on/off of the clutch m4M10. The solenoid 14 is actuated by a pulse signal from a sensor (not shown) installed near the entrance 1 to detect the leading edge of the paper, and turns on the clutch mechanism 10 for a short time.

Therefore, every time paper enters 1, the feed screw rod 5
rotates at a predetermined angle and in a predetermined direction, and the nut 6 screwed onto the feed screw rod 5 moves downward. The rotation of the feed screw rod 5 is controlled by timing bells 1 to 13.
The nut 6' also moves downward in conjunction with the nut 6.

Now, by appropriately selecting the amount of rotation of the feed screw rods 5, 5' each time the solenoid 14 and the clutch mechanism 10 are turned on once, and the pitch of the screws, the nut can be rotated while the clutch mechanism 10 is activated once. 6. If 6' is moved downward by an amount equal to the interval between the collation shelves 8, the sheets entering the entrance 1 can be sorted from the upper collation shelf to the lower collation shelf in sequence. I can do it.

In the combining device as described above, when dividing sheets or separately processed photographs, printed matter, etc. (hereinafter referred to as dividing sheets, etc.) are mixed between copy sheets and collated,
In the past, many sheets were manually fed out one by one, and such merging devices were complicated to operate, had poor working efficiency, and were prone to diagonal insertion and jamming.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, there have been proposals that provide shelves exclusively for interruption collation (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 57-1
(See Publication No. 80,558, etc.), in this case as well, it is not easy to insert partition sheets etc. into the dedicated shelf 35 for interrupt T-times.
Another disadvantage is that it is difficult to align partition sheets of different sizes when loading them.
