[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a member that closes the gap between the sill and the tatami that is created when the tatami is laid.

When laying tatami indoors, the difference between tatami and tatami may vary depending on the number of tatami buildings, differences in the shape of the room and the dimensions of the tatami, and even by placing tatami of different standards, such as the size of a housing complex, between Kanto or Kansai. Gaps may occur between the sill, between the tatami and the wall, and between the tatami.

This gap not only spoils the beauty of the tatami mat, but also causes problems such as small items falling into it and dust accumulating in it, so it is necessary to close it.

As a means to do this, for example, as shown in Fig. 1, the tatami mats 1 are laid in a certain direction, the gaps are concentrated at the sill 3, and the gaps 2 are filled with long crossbars of approximately the same width ( It is conceivable to plug it in (not shown) and close it.

However, with this method, when working on tatami flooring, the crossbars must be processed to fit the gaps, which makes the work complicated.

In such a case, blocking the gap with the above-mentioned crossbars would cause an imbalance with the aluminum members, which would significantly impair the aesthetics.
Development of other components is required.

The present invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and is composed of a closing member that closes the gap that occurs between the sill and the tatami mat, and a holding member that is attached to the sill and holds the closing member within the gap. , a new component that can be mass-produced in advance at a factory, is easy to install, and does not impair its beauty,
An object of the present invention is to provide a daytime gap closing member for a sill that is suitable for being attached to a sill made of an extruded material.

In order to achieve this objective, the daytime gap closing member for the sill of the present invention has the following configurations:
a holding member that is attached to the sill and holds the closing member within the gap; (c) The holding member is in contact with the top and side surfaces of the sill frame, and the installation allows the vertical part of the closing member to be inserted into the gap. The holding member has an inverted cross-sectional shape, and 2) a pair of engaging portions are formed on the holding member for inserting and engaging the vertical end of the closing member within the gap.
