Claims (1)
おいてプランジャ3を往復動させることにより該プラン
ジャ3の頂面3aと側周面3bにまたがって形成した通
油路16を介して該プランジャ頂面3a側に形成される
燃料加圧室31内に吸入した燃料油を加圧圧送し得る如
くする一方、前記プランジャ嵌挿穴32と相互に連通ず
る如く前記バレル2をその径方向に貫通して形成した環
状弁室12内において前記プランジャ3の外側に、該プ
ランジャ3の通油路16を適宜に開閉せしめ得る如く逃
油口15を有する環状弁4を摺動且つ相対回動自在に嵌
挿し、該環状弁4と前記プランジャ3とを適宜に相対回
動させて前記プランジャ3の通油路16と前記環状弁4
の逃油口15との連通タイミングを変化させることによ
り燃料の噴射量を制御し、また前記環状弁4とプランジ
ャ3とのプランジャ摺動方向における相対位置を変化さ
せることにより燃料の噴射時期を調整し得る如くした内
燃機関用燃料噴射ポンプであって、前記バレル2のプラ
ンジャ嵌挿穴32の内の前記環状弁室12より反燃料加
圧室寄りに位置する下側穴部32bと前記プランジャ3
とのハメアイを、前記環状弁室12より燃料加圧室31
寄りに位置する上側穴部32aと前記プランジャ3との
ハメアイよりも適度にゆるいハメアイとする一方、前記
下側穴部32bの内周面上に前記プランジャ3の側周面
3bを囲繞する如くリーク油抽出用周溝24を形成する
とともに、該周溝24を燃料排出路23に連通せしめた
ことを特徴とする内燃機関用燃料噴射ポンプ。By reciprocating the plunger 3 in the plunger insertion hole 32 penetrated through the axial center of the barrel 2, oil is supplied through the oil passage 16 formed across the top surface 3a and side surface 3b of the plunger 3. The barrel 2 is moved in the radial direction so that the fuel oil drawn into the fuel pressurizing chamber 31 formed on the plunger top surface 3a side can be pressurized and fed, and the barrel 2 is in communication with the plunger insertion hole 32. An annular valve 4 having an oil escape port 15 is slidable and relatively rotatable on the outside of the plunger 3 in an annular valve chamber 12 formed through the plunger 3 so as to open and close an oil passage 16 of the plunger 3 as appropriate. The annular valve 4 and the plunger 3 are rotated appropriately so that the oil passage 16 of the plunger 3 and the annular valve 4 are connected to each other.
The fuel injection amount is controlled by changing the communication timing with the oil relief port 15, and the fuel injection timing is adjusted by changing the relative position of the annular valve 4 and the plunger 3 in the plunger sliding direction. In the fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine, the plunger 3 is provided with a lower hole portion 32b located in the plunger insertion hole 32 of the barrel 2 and located closer to the fuel pressurizing chamber than the annular valve chamber 12, and the plunger 3.
