激な吹返しを防止する装置に関する。

口する注入口を備える式のものは知られるが、この場合
該注入口は例えば第1図のように構威されるを一般とし
たもので、かかるものでは前記した吹返しを生じ易い。

部に直接流出してしまう不都合を有する。

有する導管6で外部のキャニスタその他に連通させる燃
料タンクにおいて、前記空室4から外部へ連通させる導
管6の排気口をタンク前方視中央で土壁に近づけて配設
腰該導管6の排気口の下方且つ近傍にセパレータ3を上
下に貫通して前記通気孔2を開口させたことを特徴とす
る。

土壁に近づけて配設したものであるから車両傾斜時等の
液面変化に対しても液面が導管6の排気口まで達するこ
とはないので液漏れが生ずることなく容易に内圧を低減
させることができ、而もセパレータ3に開口する通気孔
2は導管6の排気口の下方且つ近傍にセパレータ3を上
下に貫通して開口させたから車体の傾斜、振動等により
燃料がセパレータ3上方の空室4への侵入を困難にする
と共に侵入してもその排出が非常に容易に行われ加えて
車体の傾斜が比較的少ない角度の場合は液面が通気孔2
まで至らずに気液分離室内に液体燃料が侵入しないので
燃料が導管6を通ってキャニスタ等へ達せずキャニスタ
等の機能を十分に活かしまた寿命も長くてきる等の効果
を有する。
