2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a corrosion protection device is known in which anticorrosive zinc is attached to a cooling water chamber such as a jacket part of an internal combustion engine by using a flange or the like on an opening window provided in a chamber wall to perform corrosion protection electrochemically.

This type of corrosion protection device prevents corrosion of the protected object by eluting corrosion-protective zinc, which has an electrochemically lower potential than the iron materials and alloys that make up the protected object, into water. It is necessary to frequently check the degree of wear and tear on the anti-corrosion zinc.

For this reason, in recent years, a hole has been created that communicates with the inner end of the bolt for installations that are covered with anti-corrosion zinc, and the outer end of the bolt for installations that extend outside the ice chamber wall, to form a water inspection hole. Corrosion prevention devices are known, but in this type of corrosion prevention device, when the anticorrosion zinc wears out and the opening of the water inspection hole on the inner end side becomes immersed in the internal cooling water, the cooling water will be removed from the test water. Since water leaks to the outside through the holes, it is possible to detect from outside the wall that the anti-corrosion zinc is highly worn.

However, in such a corrosion protection device, if the above-mentioned water leakage check is neglected, there is a risk that a large amount of water in the water chamber will flow out from the water inspection hole.

This idea was made in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks. The opening of the water test hole on the outer surface of the ice chamber wall is covered with a cover, which prevents the water from being tested due to wear and tear on the anti-corrosion zinc. To provide a corrosion prevention device in which leakage of water from a hole is caught by a cover of a water receiver, whereby the leakage can be detected reliably, and a large amount of cooling water from an icebox is prevented from flowing out due to water leakage.
