記グロープラグ端子電圧以外の初期条件に基づきグロー
プラグ通電時間を設定するフェイルセーフモード設定手
段と、グロープラグ通電回路へ通電開始後前記検出手段
の検出するグロープラグ端子電圧が所定値に達しない場
合はグロープラグ端子電圧検出手段異常と判定してフェ
イルセーフモード設定手段で設定された時間だけグロー
プラグに通電させる一方、検出したグロープラグ端子電
圧が所定値に達した場合はグロープラグ端子電圧検出手
段正常と判定してノーマルモード設定手段で設定された
時間だけグロープラグに通電させるモード切換手段と、
