The conventional method for producing decorative materials with uneven patterns using printing ink containing a heat foaming agent uses a combination of normal printing ink and printing ink containing a heat foaming agent, and uses normal printing ink for the flat pattern areas and ink for the raised areas. The pattern area is heated by heating paper, plywood, vinyl chloride sheet, or a base material on which the printed paper is attached to plywood using a hot air dryer or IR dryer. This was a method in which only the printed areas of the printing ink containing a foaming agent were foamed to form convex areas.

In the conventional manufacturing method for such uneven pattern IQ materials, the heat transfer method is indirect through the air, so the heat transferred to the base material has large temperature unevenness. In addition, since air is passed through and heated gradually, the gas in the foaming agent easily evaporates, resulting in only a low foaming ratio, that is, a material with a small uneven pattern. In particular, when materials that require a large heat capacity, such as plywood or particle board, are used, temperature irregularities are large, the foaming effect is small, and the decorative material has a very uneven uneven pattern.
Furthermore, since the foamed portion is foamed freely in the air, it becomes a convex foamed shape as shown in FIG. 7, which causes problems such as sharp edges are missing in the uneven pattern. In addition, the paper is foamed using printing ink mixed with a heating foaming agent in advance to create uneven IQ paper.
Furthermore, when the textured paper is adhered to a substrate such as plywood using an adhesive, pressure is applied to the surface of the decorative paper, resulting in disadvantages such as crushing of the foamed convex portions of the decorative paper. The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and aims to produce sharp and uniform foamed areas with a high expansion ratio in a short period of time. A manufacturing method is provided.

That is, the present invention is characterized by using a heating plate instead of heating the secondary pot using an air layer, and by controlling the temperature and pressure of the platen, it is possible to completely and uniformly control foaming. There is. In the present invention, a substrate on which a desired pattern has been printed in advance with ordinary printing ink and printing ink containing a heating foaming agent is inserted between the heating plates of a flat plate press and then heated under pressure to uniformly generate a large amount of heat in a short time. It decomposes the foaming agent in the printing ink containing the foaming agent and softens the resin of the printing ink. Then, the pressing pressure of the hot platen is reduced to zero and the printing ink is held for 2 to 6 hours to foam the printing ink, and the upper surface of the foam layer is formed into a flat convex portion as shown in FIG. 4 by the hot platen of the press. The length of time for which the vertical pressure is maintained at zero is selected depending on the composition of the printing ink containing a foaming agent, the type of foaming agent, the amount added, etc., but according to the present invention, it is within the range of 2 to 6 times the current sand. Ta.

If the printing ink is heated for less than 2 seconds, the once-foamed printing ink will continue to foam a second time even after the hot disc is released, making it difficult to obtain the desired flat convex surface.

This is because if the printing ink is held for more than 6 degrees, the resin in the completely foamed printing ink is softened, so the foamed convex parts are likely to become wedged, making it difficult to obtain the desired flat convex surfaces.

Further, the blowing agents used in the present invention include inorganic blowing agents such as sodium bicarbonate and calcium bicarbonate, and organic blowing agents such as azobisisoputyronitrile, benzenesulfonyl hydrazide and toluenesulfonyl hydrazide. The resins used in printing inks containing heating foaming agents include vinyl chloride resin, vinyl acetate resin, etc., which soften and foam easily when the ink is heated and the heating foaming agent decomposes, generating gas and foaming. Thermoplastic resins are suitable. Next, examples of the present invention will be described below.
