The tray described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 47-40143 has a dental arch-shaped groove formed by inserting and adhering a flexible water-absorbing elastic piece into the groove of a mouthpiece-shaped device made of a waterproof material. Rubber, synthetic resin, and waterproof paper are planned as the waterproof materials, and sponge pieces and urethane foam pieces are planned as the water-absorbing elastic pieces. The device body must have a three-dimensional shape with grooves. It is something. Therefore, with this tray, it is difficult to appropriately accommodate the shape and size of each patient's dentition. For example, when applying fluoride to a child, the size of the dentition varies considerably depending on the patient's age. Another drawback is that a tray of a predetermined size is not enough and trays of various sizes must be prepared. Furthermore, when manufacturing them, expensive molds, etc. are required to mold them into a predetermined three-dimensional shape, and in order to manufacture trays of various sizes, molds, etc. are required for each size, and the manufacturing process That itself was relatively disappointing. And, Jikko 47-40
The tray described in Publication No. 144 has been improved so that it can be applied to tooth row sizes within a certain range, and some versatility with respect to the tooth row size has been secured, but it is still not sufficiently versatile. Ta. In addition, like the conventional tray mentioned above, this tray is pre-formed into a three-dimensional shape that covers the tooth row, and has the fate of being relatively troublesome to manufacture. In terms of handling and storage space during shipping and storage by the user (dentist), there are various disadvantages compared to flat sheet materials. Furthermore, these two conventional trays are not used as trays for introducing and penetrating fluoride ions into the teeth, but are simply used to cover the patient's teeth with the tray impregnated with the drug, and thus are not used as trays for introducing and penetrating fluoride ions into the teeth. The method also lacked versatility. The tray described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 50-5673 is a tray for energizing drug penetration, but it is also pre-formed into a predetermined size and three-dimensional shape, and has the same drawbacks as the above two conventional examples. Not only that, but the conductive plate is located only on the inner bottom surface of the main body of the molded tray, which has a concave cross-section and a horseshoe shape in plan, and as a result, fluorine ions ionized by the current are exclusively located at the upper ends of the teeth. It penetrated deeply into the front and back sides of the tooth, making it difficult to penetrate the entire tooth relatively evenly.

Furthermore, this energized drug permeation tray had a complicated structure and was too expensive to be disposable. Furthermore, 1
As a single-use tray that can be applied to dentition of various sizes, the one described in US Pat. No. 3,8406 is known. This consists of a U-shaped support member made of bendable metal foil, a folding line formed on the support member, and an adhesive layer formed on one side of the support member. It has a two-layer structure. The sizes of these two holes are the same, and the inner and outer contour lines of the adhesive layer are not formed so as to protrude outward more than the inner and outer contour lines of the support section.
Therefore, when the support member is bent from the folding line and placed over the tooth row, there is a risk that the edge of the support member made of metal foil or the like may damage the gums. In addition, when placed over the dentition, the support member made of metal foil is exposed on the outside, so during the treatment, the tongue feels the metallic taste generated from the metal foil due to the electromotive force of the calvanic current, causing discomfort. .
The present invention eliminates the various drawbacks of the above-mentioned conventional examples, and provides an extremely versatile tray that can be applied to tooth rows of various sizes with one tray, and can also be used as both an energized and non-energized tray. In addition, it is extremely inexpensive and has a simple structure, and it also prevents the edges of the metal parts that make up the tray from damaging the gums, and prevents the tongue from feeling the metallic taste that comes from the metal parts when used as an electrification tray. It is an object of the present invention to provide a dental drug application tray that does not cause discomfort during treatment, and to provide a manufacturing method that allows such trays to be easily and quickly mass-produced. In order to achieve such an object, the tray according to the present invention has a water-absorbing elastic piece in direct contact with the drug forming a surface layer, a metal foil forming an intermediate layer on the back side of the water-absorbing elastic piece of the bracket, and It is made of a flat horseshoe-shaped laminated material with an electrically insulating material forming a layer on the back side of the metal foil, and the inner and outer contours of the water-absorbing elastic piece are the inner and outer contours of the metal foil. It is designed to extend outward. Further, the method for manufacturing a tray according to the present invention includes bonding an electrically insulating material and a metal foil, then punching and forming the two-layered laminated material into a horseshoe shape, and adding a water-absorbing elastic piece to the two-layered laminated material. It is stamped into a horseshoe shape that is slightly larger than the material, and this water-absorbing elastic piece is adhered to the metal foil so that its outline is located outside the outline of the metal foil. Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the dental drug tray of the present invention has a flat horseshoe shape as a whole, and has a surface layer, an intermediate layer,
Consists of an outer layer. The surface layer consists of a water-absorbing elastic piece 2 that comes into direct contact with the drug, the middle layer consists of a metal foil 3 that is bent to follow the three-dimensional shape of the tooth, and the outer layer is made of an electrically insulating material and constitutes a flat laminated material 1. ing. This laminated material 1, which has a planar horseshoe shape, has a projecting piece 6 approximately in the center of an arcuate outer contour line 5, which also serves as an electrical connection piece and also serves as a knob when inserted into the oral cavity and attached to the dentition. have. The water-absorbing elastic piece 2 is made of a material such as nonwoven fabric or sponge, and a metal foil 3 such as aluminum foil or tin foil is adhered to the back side of the piece.
A synthetic resin material such as polyethylene is adhered to the back side of the metal foil 3 by coating or the like, and a layer of electrically insulating material 4 (
The laminated material 1 is constructed by forming a back layer). In order to apply a drug to the teeth using such a tray with a flat plate structure, for example, fluorine is applied to the water-absorbing elastic piece 2, and the water-absorbing elastic piece 2 is applied to the tooth (first step). 3
(see figure), then bend the laminated material 1 along the shape of the tooth to follow the three-dimensional shape of each tooth 10 (see figure 4)
. At this time, due to the presence of the metal foil 3, the laminated material 1 maintains its three-dimensional shape as bent, and the tooth 1 has a water-absorbing elastic piece 2.
can be brought into close contact. In such a state of use, a fluorine ion introduction method can be used by energizing the metal foil 3, or fluorine can be simply brought into close contact with the tooth 101 and gradually penetrated. When using fluorine ion introduction method,
Since a diamond layer of electrically insulating material 4 is formed on the back side of the metal foil 3, it is possible to prevent the tongue from sensing the unpleasant taste of metal generated from the metal foil 3 due to galvanic current generation during the treatment, and to completely eliminate It is possible to achieve an insulation effect. In order to ensure the shape retention effect of the metal foil 3 after bending, it is considered that the thicker it is within the bendable thickness range, the better; however, if the metal foil 3 is too thick, the three-dimensional shape of the tooth 10 will change. The adhesion between the tooth 10 and the tooth 10 deteriorates, and there are places where the medicine and the tooth 10 become separated.

In addition, the thickness of the metal foil 3 is designed to balance adhesion and shape retention.
Even if set, the electrical insulating material 4 may act to unbend the metal foil 3 due to the relationship with the electrical insulating material 4, so it is desirable to determine the thickness of both. The inventors investigated this point and found that good results were obtained when the thickness of the metal foil 3 was set in the range of 7 to 60 microns and the thickness of the electrically insulating material 4 was set in the range of 1 to 100 microns. Ta. In addition, in order to easily bring the laminated material 1 having a flat plate structure into close contact with the tooth row of the teeth 10, a desired location is placed near the inner contour line 7 and the outer contour line 5 forming an arc shape of a horse bran shape, as shown in FIG. It is also possible to form wrinkled portions 8 that are wavy in the thickness direction.

This perforation 9 is formed in a shape that follows the shape of each tooth, since the thickness of the front teeth and the back teeth are different. The shape surrounded by the perforations 9 forms the upper end surface (or lower end surface) of the tooth row. Further, this perforation 9 may be combined with one or both of the wrinkle portion 8 and the notch 81 described above. The size of the water-absorbing elastic piece 2 is such that it has a larger surface area than other layers, that is, the inner and outer contour lines 5 of the water-absorbing elastic piece 2 have a larger surface area than other layers.
Both layers are bonded so that the metal foil 7 extends outward from the inside and outside of the metal foil 3 (see FIG. 2).

When punching out the two-layer structure of the metal foil 3 and the electrically insulating material 4 into a horseshoe shape, the wrinkled portion 8 or the notch 81 or both may be formed at the same time. Further, the back surface of the metal foil 3 is coated with an electrically insulating material 4, such as polyethylene. Further, the water-absorbing elastic piece 2 may be impregnated with the drug in advance during the tray manufacturing process, and when the completed tray is used, the drug is applied to the teeth by wetting the water-absorbing elastic piece 2 with water. If it were made to be able to be used as a pick-up tray, it would be even more convenient.

The water-absorbing elastic piece 2 may be impregnated with the drug either before punching out the sheet-like material or after punching it into a horse-like shape. The drug is dried when the tray is completed, and moistened when the tray is used. It's all good if you do it. Furthermore, it is also possible to add a step of forming the perforations 9 to the tray manufacturing process. As explained above, in the dental drug application tray of the present invention, the water-absorbing elastic piece that directly contacts the drug forms the surface layer, and the metal foil forms the middle layer on the back of the water-absorbing elastic piece of the bracket. , is made of a flat horseshoe-shaped laminated material with an electrically insulating material forming a surface layer on the back side of the metal foil, and the inner and outer contours of the water-absorbing elastic piece are the inner and outer contours of the metal foil. If the adhesion to the teeth is improved, the treatment effect will naturally improve, and it can also be applied to all sizes, regardless of differences in dentition and tooth size due to individual differences or age differences. Furthermore, since the metal foil also serves as a conductive plate, it can also be used as a tray for introducing ions into teeth in a short time using the fluorine ion introduction method. When used as such an energized drug permeation tray, the presence of the backing layer made of electrically insulating material also prevents the unpleasant metallic taste resulting from the metal foil. Furthermore, it has an extremely simple structure compared to a follower tray, making it ideal as a disposable tray, and is very convenient for storage and transportation since it is flat and highly flexible when not in use.
In particular, in the tray of the present invention, the water-absorbing elastic pieces are formed larger than the other layers, so when the tray is attached to the teeth, the edge of the metal foil is reliably prevented from hitting the gingiva and damaging the gingiva. At the same time, the edges of the metal foil do not injure fingers during storage or transportation, and a wide range of tooth surfaces can be treated. Furthermore, since the water-absorbing elastic piece to which the medicine is applied has a large surface area, if the medicine is evenly applied to this water-absorbing elastic piece, the water-absorbing elastic piece will come into close contact with the entire circumferential surface of the tooth. The required minimum amount is required, and as a result of storing a relatively large amount of medicine in the recess like in conventional trays, there is no possibility that the medicine will flow out from between the tray and the teeth. Further, since the tray of the present invention can be bent and maintain a three-dimensional shape that closely fits the teeth, there is little discomfort in the oral cavity. In addition, when the thickness of the metal foil is 7 to 60 microns and the thickness of the electrically insulating material is 1 to 100 microns, it is possible to maintain the three-dimensional shape of the tooth when the tray is bent, and to Harmony with the adhesion is achieved. Furthermore, aluminum foil or tin foil is used as the metal foil,
If a synthetic resin material such as polyethylene is coated on the back side of the metal foil as an electrically insulating material, it can be manufactured at low cost and easily. Furthermore,
One or both of the wrinkled part and the notch are formed in the vicinity of the inner contour line or the outer contour line forming the horsewidth-shaped arc, or at desired locations in the vicinity of the outer contour line or both, so as to wave in the thickness direction or toward the center. In this case, the tray can be bent very easily into the shape of the tooth row, allowing the practitioner to operate it easily and quickly. In addition, in the case of a horseshoe-shaped tray with a perforation formed near the center that follows the shape of the tooth row, it is easy to fold the tray between the back and front sides of the tooth row after placing it over the tooth row. becomes. Further, according to the manufacturing method of the present invention, an electrically insulating material and a metal foil are bonded together, and then this two-layered laminated material is stamped into a horseshoe shape, and a water-absorbing elastic piece is attached to the two-layered laminated material. This water-absorbing elastic piece is punched and formed into a horseshoe shape slightly larger than that of the metal foil, and is bonded to the metal foil so that its outline is positioned outward from the outline of the metal foil, thereby preventing damage to the gums, etc. caused by the edges of the metal foil. In order to prevent this, it is possible to easily manufacture a tray with a structure in which the edges are covered with a water-absorbing elastic piece.
