Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic calculator which is capable of writing the data supplied from a cash dispenser by utilizing a solar battery serving as a power supply for a data reading means. CONSTITUTION:An electronic calculator main body 1 is put into a cash dispenser and therefore the light emitting body 8 of the cash dispenser is put on a solar battery serving as a photodetecting part. A specific pattern which is usually never generated to the solar battery cell is supplied as a start signal by the body 8. Then the input/output cash amount, the balance, etc. are written to a memory in the calculator by the ON/OFF combinations of the matter 8 and via a parallel input bus 9. The display of the balance, etc. is simplified since all types of information are stored to the calculator.

れるようにすることもでき、さらに薄型電卓とキヤ・ン
ンユデメスペンサー間も光によって情報伝送が行われる
から機械的接点もなく雑音にも強いものとすることがで
きる。
