Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a telephone network containing both electromagnetic exchanges and electronic exchanges, by attaining a request for service even with a call given from a subscriber at either side of the electromagnetic or electronic exchange. CONSTITUTION:Signal devices 3a and 4a are provided to electromagnetic exchanges 3 and 4 for subscriber, and a talking circuit is set so that the calls of subscribers 7 and 8 stored in the exchanges 3 and 4 are always transmitted through the repeating electronic exchanges. A repeating electroni exchange 9 receives the subscriber information and the circuit discrimination information from the devices 3a and 4a inquires the propriety for connection to an incoming subscriber to an incoming exchange through its own signal device 9a. When the connection is impossible, the exchange 9 drives its own service device 24 to perform the control for acceptance of services including the reservation of an unfinished call, the transmission of a message to the incoming subscriber, etc.

In telephone networks where electronic exchanges and electromagnetic exchanges coexist, conventionally, only when the originating exchange, terminating exchange, and relay exchange forming a telephone line are all composed of electronic exchanges, the originating subscriber is busy, absent, or absent. If you encounter no response,
Without putting the receiver on-hook, it is possible to request the exchange for services such as reserving a call that was not completed or transmitting a message after the callee ends the call or cancels the call. However, if there is an electromagnetic exchange among the originating exchange, terminating exchange, and relay exchange that form the telephone line, the originating subscriber must first put the receiver on the hook,
Only by dialing the special number again can you request services from the exchange, such as reserving an incomplete call or transmitting a message after the callee ends the call or cancels the call. In order to solve the second drawback, all electromagnetic exchanges must have a signaling function that allows them to send and receive various information between the exchanges in addition to the call line, and that once the call line has been set up, the connection can be freely changed to a different trunk at any time. There is a method to provide a function that can be used, but this method requires a very complicated configuration of the electromagnetic switch.

高価なものとなる。It becomes expensive.

In order to achieve the above object, the telephone exchange connection system according to the present invention provides an electromagnetic exchange for subscribers, an electromagnetic exchange for relay, which is composed of an electromagnetic exchange such as a crossbar exchange, and the identification information and services of the self-accommodating subscriber. Separate information, etc. from telephone lines;
Subscriptions having signaling equipment for transmitting and receiving signals between exchanges, and service equipment that allows services such as the reservation of incomplete calls and the transmission of messages to the called subscriber to continue to be performed without having to go on-hook and re-dial the handset. In a switching network in which electronic exchanges for subscribers and electronic exchanges for relays coexist, I! A signaling device is provided, and when a subscriber accommodated in the subscriber electromagnetic exchange makes a call, the call line is set so that it always goes through the relay electronic exchange, and the signaling device Upon receiving the subscriber information including the subscriber's identification information and line identification information, the relay electronic exchange uses its own signaling device to inquire of the terminating exchange whether or not it is possible to connect with the terminating subscriber, and if connection is possible, it normally The call line is set up to the incoming exchange according to the procedure described above, and the call line is monitored. If the inquiry results in a connection being impossible, or if the call line monitoring determines that the call cannot be made, the call line is activated to activate its own service equipment. ,
When a subscriber accommodated in the subscriber electronic exchange makes a call, the subscriber electronic exchange is characterized in that it operates in the same manner as the relay electronic exchange.

When the relay exchange 9 receives the information that connection is possible, the terminating exchange transfers the connection to the subscriber electronic exchange 2 according to the normal connection procedure.
If so, the call is received at the subscriber's electronic exchange 2 via the telephone line 14, and if the terminating exchange is the subscriber's electromagnetic exchange 4, the call is received at the subscriber's electromagnetic exchange 4 via the telephone line 15. After the incoming call connection is completed, the relay exchange fi9 monitors the telephone line, and if there is a response, it stops monitoring and thereafter handles the telephone line in the same way as a normal telephone.

If the result of the inquiry is that connection is not possible, or if it is determined that the call cannot be made as a result of monitoring the call line, the relay exchange 9 reconnects the set call line to another trunk and resumes the service. Take control. Immediately, the relay exchange 9 switches the connection to the service device 24 and shifts to control for accepting services such as reservation of incomplete calls and message transmission to the called subscriber. Specifically, the service device 24 continues to schedule uncompleted calls from the subscriber 7 and to respond to the called subscriber even if the subscriber 5 does not once put the handset on hook and dial a special number again. Accepts requests for services such as message messages, and stores the service contents. When the relay exchange 9 recognizes that the call has been terminated by the called subscriber or that the absent state has been released, the relay exchange 9 automatically reads out the service content from the service device 24 and transmits it to the called subscriber.

In this way, in this embodiment, a signaling device that can send and receive various information between exchanges in addition to the telephone line is added only to the subscriber electromagnetic exchange, and nothing is added to the relay electromagnetic exchange. In addition, the setting of the call line and the sending of the selection signal use the link-by-link procedure without changing the signaling method of the conventional telephone network, and the control for switching the call line once set to another trunk and the accompanying The control of these services was left to the electronic switching equipment.

Furthermore, according to this embodiment, since it is known whether or not a connection is possible with the terminating subscriber before the calling station sets up the telephone line, it is possible to eliminate the invalid operation of the terminating subscriber's exchange and the invalid holding of the line. It is well-argued that the telephone network can be constructed more economically, and it is clear that if the terminating exchange is narrower, the telephone network will be more resistant to overload.

and without changing the signaling system, the reservation of uncompleted calls continues without going on-hook and redialing, regardless of whether the call is made by a subscriber housed in an electronic exchange or an electromagnetic exchange. You can request services such as sending a message after the called subscriber ends the call or cancels the call.

(1) Electromagnetic exchanges for subscribers and relay electromagnetic exchanges, which are composed of electromagnetic exchanges such as crossbar exchanges, transmit and receive identification information and service information of self-accommodating subscribers between the exchanges separately from the call line. signaling device. and subscriber electronic exchanges and relay electronic exchanges having service equipment capable of continuing to perform services such as reserving incomplete calls and transmitting messages to the called subscriber without having to take the receiver on-hook and re-dial. In a switching network in which there are a mixture of After setting up a call line and receiving subscriber information including the subscriber's identification information and line identification information from the signaling device, the relay electronic exchange connects the terminating subscriber to the terminating exchange using its own signaling device. If a connection is possible, the call line is set up to the incoming exchange using the normal procedure, and the call line is monitored. If the inquiry results in a connection being impossible, or if the call line is monitored, the call cannot be made. If it is determined that this is the case, the subscriber's own service device is activated, and if a subscriber accommodated in the subscriber's electronic exchange makes a call, the subscriber's electronic exchange operates in the same manner as the relay electronic exchange. A telephone exchange connection system characterized by being configured as follows.
