In the configuration of -1- below, the ionization electrode 4 and the counter electrode 5
In the ion wind generation section consisting of the above, a corona current flows due to the voltage, the ions collide with air molecules, and an air flow is generated due to viscosity, causing dust-containing air to flow in from the intake air 1] 2 of the main case 1. Then, there is a charger made up of a charging section 7 and a dust collecting electrode plate 8.
In the dust collection section, dust in the dust-containing air is charged, and the dust is attracted and captured by the dust collection electrode plate 8 using a high electric field. At this time, the dust collection efficiency in the electrostatic dust collection part is as high as 90 to 95%, so almost no dust reaches the ion wind generation part, and the ionization electrode 4 and opposing type $j1.5 can be used for a long period of time. It does not get dirty even when used, and there is no possibility of fibrous dust adhering to it, so there is no possibility of spark discharge causing abnormal noise or problems with the use of the device, such as an increase in the amount of ozone generated.

In the electrostatic precipitator, almost no dust adheres to the end face of the dust collecting electrode plate 8, and most of the dust is adsorbed to the side surfaces, so the electric field strength does not become locally high and spark discharge hardly occurs. As in the actual example shown in FIG. 3, if the charging section 7 is placed in isolation from the ventilation path and a flat opposing electrode plate 9 is provided between the dust collecting electrode plates 8, a stable electric field that is less likely to cause spark discharge can be created. can be formed.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, dust is captured by the electrostatic dust collecting section in front of the ionizing wind generation section, thereby preventing dust from adhering to the ionization electrode and the counter electrode, and preventing spark discharge. This prevents the generation of abnormal noise and increase in the amount of ozone generated, and enables long-term use.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the effect can be achieved simply by arranging the electrostatic dust collector on the front side, and it can be achieved with almost no pressure loss resistance, which is the biggest drawback of ion wind. By combining it with ion wind, it becomes possible to create a silent air purifier, which is its greatest feature. Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to completely eliminate spark discharge in the electrostatic precipitator.
