Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a gel spreadable smoothly on the skin and developing high strength rapidly and reproducibly after application, by compounding a carboxyl- containing water-soluble polymer, a synthetic aluminum silicate and dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate to a carrier and water at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:A carrier such as polyethylene glycol, glycerol, etc. and water are compounded with (A) a carboxyl-containing water-soluble polymer or its salt (e.g. polyacrylic acid salt), (B) a synthetic aluminum silicate and (C) dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate. The amounts of the components A, B and C are 67.5-74.0(wt)% (preferably 68.5-73.5%), 20.0-27.5% (preferably 21.0-25.0%) and 4.0-9.5% (preferably 5.0-8.0%), based on A+B+C, respectively. The component A is preferably a mixture of a polyacrylic acid salt and about 1-3% polyacrylic acid and the pH of the system is maintained to preferably 8.0-6.5.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides gels for bags, etc., that exhibit sufficient spreadability when applied to a support and quickly exhibit a certain level of strength after application, with good reproducibility. It relates to a manufacturing method for obtaining.

BACKGROUND ART It has been known to form a gel by coexisting a certain amount or more of polyvalent metal ions with a soluble polymer of an aliphatic carboxylic acid or its salt, for example, as a raw material for gels used in bag agents and the like.

However, this type of gel has drawbacks such as the inability to obtain a homogeneous gel because the reaction occurs extremely rapidly, and it is difficult to obtain a homogeneous gel even if it meets the various conditions required for this type of gel. The current situation is that there is no one.

However, the aluminum compounds used in this case include, for example, aluminum hydroxide, aluminum chloride,
Salts of inorganic or organic acids such as aluminum sulfate, aluminum acetate, and aluminum stearate, double salts such as aluminum alum, aluminum salts such as sodium aluminate, inorganic aluminum complex salts, and organic aluminum chelate compounds. Since the reaction is carried out by eluting aluminum ions while using a uniformly large amount of acid and alkaline tubes, considering the actual operation, the process is complicated. Not only that, but there were also concerns about the reproducibility of the strength characteristics of the resulting gel, leaving room for further improvement.

This invention has been developed in accordance with the above-mentioned requirements, and has been developed for a gel used when coating a gel on a support to form a support such as a bag agent, while exhibiting excellent spreadability during the coating process. After completing the process, they quickly discovered and completed a method for producing a gel that exhibited high strength with good reproducibility.

The carrier referred to in the present invention is one that has a substantial affinity with water and exhibits water-retaining properties, such as polyethylene. The term refers to substances that are viscous liquid at room temperature and do not irritate the skin, such as licor, polypropylene glycol, and glycerin.

A typical example of this ag polymer is polyacrylate, which shows a tendency to generally improve the physical properties of poultices when its average degree of polymerization increases. However, when the viscosity increases significantly, the workability of coating onto a support deteriorates. Therefore, it is generally preferable to use a polymer having an average degree of polymerization of about 104 to 105.

The salt-forming cation for the polymer is generally selected from sodium and potassium. Other salt-forming cations, such as alkanolamines, amines, or ammonium, may be used in some cases, but these generally pose some concerns regarding decomposition and odor generation during long-term storage, and Other cations are often impractical due to their price.

In the present invention, in addition to the above-mentioned materials, synthetic aluminum silicate is used, which is not only lighter and finer than natural products and extremely convenient for maintaining a dispersed state, but also the aforementioned carrier, polysilicate, etc. The acrylate and dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate (described below) interact with each other to promote the reaction with good reproducibility.

Apart from this, in the present invention, dihydroxyaluminum amine acetate is used, and its function is that it is blended with each of the above-mentioned components, and the - of the system is approximately 8.0 to 6.
It is believed that by keeping the temperature between 5 and 5, partial hydrolysis of F occurs to liberate glycine and facilitate the reaction between the polyacrylate and aluminum.

- When adjusting polyacrylic acid, polyacrylic acid is used in a range of about 1 to 3% by weight based on polyacrylate, but this acid has excellent compatibility with polyacrylate and This has the effect that it is not considered as the addition of an extra component.
