下面に操作器を配し、上面に遮断部を配したものとがお
る。このうち、前面に操作器を配置したものは、操作機
構内が見やすく取扱いやすいので、保守点検等がしやす
いという利点があるが、一方では、操作器の裏面に電気
的絶縁を確保して遮断部を配置するため、遮断器全体の
奥行が大きくなシ、遮断器を収納する配電盤や据付面積
が大きくなるという欠点がある。この順向は電圧が高く
なるほど、長い電気的絶縁距離を必要とするため顕著に
なる。

る22部分のみを従来と同等の厚みとすればよい。一方
、操作器箱の上端面は、上部導電部との間の電気絶縁強
さが、下部の絶縁強さと同等になるよう、上部導体5の
高さよりも低く構成する。従って、絶縁支持枠18の操
作器箱17への取付耳19も上部導体5の高さよりも低
く構成する。
