Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a higher lateral stability without increasing the propulsion resistance by mounting a float at the tip of an outrigger which is stretched out over the water surface from both sides of a boat being provided with an oar clutch. CONSTITUTION:In a row-boat in which an outrigger 2 is stretched out over the water surface from both sides thereof with an oar clutch 4, a float 6 is provided at the tip of the outrigger with a space above the water surface. With such an arrangement, the float 6 touches water to enhance the lateral stability with a greater restoring force regardless of the inclination of the boat during the boarding and disembarking of the crew. In normal rowing, the float 6 is positioned off the water surface, posing no resistance during the propulsion.

The so-called single skull knuckle fore, eight, etc. are known as boats with a narrow width and have the riggers protruding outward from the side and a mail clutch at the tip. Poor lateral stability. With the spread of these boats, they are now widely used by beginners, but especially for beginners, it is desirable that they have a structure that has good lateral stability and allows them to practice with peace of mind. Improving lateral stability can be easily achieved by increasing the width of the boat, but increasing the width of the boat increases propulsion resistance and deteriorates the boat's original functions, which is not desirable.

This invention solves 11 of these conventional problems. The aim is to provide a bow 1- that improves lateral stability without increasing propulsion resistance and allows even beginners to learn with confidence.

That is, the present invention provides a rowing boat in which riggers are protruded outward from both sides of the water surface and an oar clutch is provided at the tip of the rowing boat, and a float is formed at the tip of the outrigger at a predetermined distance from the water surface. It was established as follows.

A float 6 is attached to the tip of the outrigger 2,
As shown in FIG. 4, the float 6 is made of a single columnar body made of urethane foam or the like. The arm 7 passes debris through the center of the float 6, and by tightening it with the pole 8, the float 6 is fixed to the arm 7, and the arm 7
[Attachment] By tightening the tip of the outrigger with the pull part 71, the float 6 can be detachably attached to the outrigger 2 in a horizontal state. For installation, change the MIJ angle of flow 1-6 by adjusting part 71, and thereby
You can also adjust the distance between 〇 and water surface 9. The float is arranged at a predetermined distance from the water surface 9, so that when the main body 1 is tilted at a predetermined angle, the float reaches the water surface 9 and exerts a restoring force. The shape of the flow 1 is not limited to a cylindrical shape, and various shapes can be adopted.

Fig. 5 shows the configuration of the A-ru 5, the main body 51 of the oar 5 is composed of a double tube made of aluminum or FRP, and a blade 52 made of FRP molded product is removed at one end.
A grip 53 is formed at the other end. The grip 53 has a rubber material with irregularities formed on its surface to prevent slipping. A sleeve 54 that comes into contact with the A-le clutch 4 is installed in the middle of the main body 51.

In the above configuration, when the vehicle is running, the float 6 is positioned above the water surface 9 as shown by the solid line in FIG. 3, so it does not become a propulsion resistance. In addition, if the boat tilts when boarding or disembarking, as shown in the imaginary line in Figure 3, the buoyancy of the float 6 exerts a restoring force as the float 6 enters the water, preventing it from capsizing. can be prevented. Since the float 6 is located laterally away from the main body 1, even if the float itself is small, it is effective for restoring the body, thus greatly improving lateral stability. Flows 1-6 can also be removed when unnecessary.

As explained above, in this invention 1, a float is attached to the tip of the outrigger so that a restoring force is applied when the bow is tilted, and a relatively small floating body can exert a large restoring force. This allows for superior stability while still taking advantage of the boat's original functions.
