Abstract

PURPOSE:To add an odorant properly and uniformly even when main gas flow is low, by injecting an odorant into the main gas by use of a highly odored carrier gas. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of a carrier gas is fed through a carrier gas line 2 via a valve 4a controlled by a flow regulator. An odorant in an amt. corresponding to the flow of the carrier gas is fed from a tank 3 by means of a pump 6 for mixing in a mixer 5 to prepare an odorant-contg. carrier gas. The carrier gas is added to the main gas flowing in a miain gas line 1 via a valve 7 controlled by a flow ratio regulator 8 to maintain the odorant content in fuel gas at a predetermined level. Carrier gas which contains an excess amount of odorant is discharged through a buffer gas line 9 (9a is a resistor inserted in the line).

First, one is a system as shown in FIG. 2 (1), in which information regarding the gas flow rate of the gas line obtained by the meter 13 for adjusting the number of metered injections leading to the odorant tank 12 is used for the gas line 11. Based on this, the number of times the odorant is injected from the adjustment cap is increased or decreased in proportion to the gas flow i1. Based on the information on the gas flow rate obtained by the operation time adjustment device 22 connected to the odorant tank 21, the operation time of the Inf 24 directly connected to the odorant tank 23 is increased or decreased in proportion to the flow rate, and the amount of gas flowing into the gas line is increased or decreased. (It controls the amount of odor added.) In addition, it controls the amount of odor added.
iii) As shown in K, the amount of odorant flowing into the gas line 31 from the odorant tank 32 by the Inf 33 is adjusted in proportion to the gas flow rate by increasing or decreasing the opening degree of the control valve 340. As in the second example, the control valve and gas line 31
A valve opening adjustment device 35 is interposed between the two to detect the flow rate in the gas line 31, and as shown in FIG. On the other hand, there is a method in which a fixed amount of carrier gas is introduced through a constant flow device 43 and a highly concentrated odorized gas corresponding to the saturated vapor pressure is injected 44 into the gas line 41. Note that the reference numeral 45 indicates a resistance.

I have described the typical methods above, but all conventional methods involve adding an odorant to the gas, including an intermittent drip method,
It was either a bond-on-off method or a fixed-flow drip method. However, these systems cannot add the odorant appropriately to the gas flow rate, and are extremely inconvenient especially when the flow rate is small.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention has been made to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art as described above. Moreover, the object is to provide an odorizing device that can maintain a uniform and appropriate addition amount.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention includes a mixer that mixes a carrier gas that flows in with a controlled flow rate and an odorant that flows in proportion to the flow rate;
Regarding a fuel gas odorization device comprising an odorant-containing carrier gas flow rate ratio controller that adjusts the flow rate ratio of the odorant-containing carrier gas flowing out from the mixer to the main gas, this device The odorized carrier gas is allowed to flow in at a constant rate corresponding to the flow rate of the main gas to be odorized.At this time, the excess odor carrier gas is discharged as a buffer gas to another line. It can be used in

(Function) Since the present invention relates to the above configuration, the odorant is first mixed with the carrier gas at a constant ratio, and the carrier gas containing the odorant maintained at the mixing ratio is controlled by the flow rate of the main gas. The odorant is made to flow into the main gas at a constant ratio, so that the odorant is indirectly injected into the main gas.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing the apparatus of the present invention. A carrier gas line 2 and an odorant tank 3 are provided for a main gas gas line 1 to which an odorant is finally added. The carrier is placed in line 2 with an IC that detects the flow rate of the carrier gas and maintains a constant flow rate. ! A flow rate controller 4 is provided to control the opening of the l1 control valve 4a, and the gas is caused to flow into the mixer 5. On the other hand, the odorant stored in the odorant tank 3 also flows into the mixer 5 in an amount corresponding to the gas flow rate adjusted by the bonder 6, and is mixed with the carrier gas to generate an odorant-containing carrier gas. I am forced to do it.

(Effects of the Invention) Since the present invention is based on the above configuration, even if the main gas has a small flow rate, the addition of the odorant can be carried out properly, and the addition of the odorant can be carried out for a long time (KljAF). Even if there is a fluctuation in the flow rate, a uniform and accurate amount of addition can be maintained continuously, making this an extremely useful device.
