Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a vinyl tile having excellent elasticity, strength and processability, by blending zoeolite and CaCO2 with PVC and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:5-160pts.wt. zeolite having particle size of 80 mesh or below and a specific surface area of 280m<2>/g or above as measured by the BET method and 4-440pts.wt. CaCO2 treated with resin acid (e.g. diterpene acid), having a particle size of 0.02-350mum as filler, and optionally 15-55pts.wt. primary plasticizer (e.g. 2-ethylhexyl phthalate), stabilizer, colorant, etc. are blended with 100pts.wt. PVC. The mixture is kneaded at 100-150 deg.C and passed between calender rolls kept at a required temp. to mold it. EFFECT:A vinyl tile having excellent physical properties can be obtd. without using asbestos or any secondary plasticizer.

本発明では充填剤の少なくとt、1部としてセビオライ

ライトを使用するものである。セビオライトは含水ケイ

造から空間を多く有し、かつ表面に水酸基を有するので
吸着性が良く、かつ極性溶媒および炭酸カルシウムに対
してなじみ易い。セビオライFはBET法による比表面
積は280112/g以上が望ましい。またセビオライ
ト粉体は繊維性を示す。上記セビオライトは特異性を示
すので種々の応用研究がなされているが、本発明におい
てはセビオライトがPvCタイルへの配合に適すること
が見出され、完成された。セビオライトは80メツシユ
より細かい粒度が望ましい。本発明においてセビオライ
トはPVC100部(重量部、以下同様)に対し5〜1
60部配合するのが望ましい。
