Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a device in structure, by causing a paper feeding table to go up and down with driving force of a machine body, while making the top of a paper stack so as to be held at a proper position all the time. CONSTITUTION:Grawing out a paper feeding device, when an operator loads a paper stack and inserts the paper feeding device into a machine, a joint 8 is coupled with the device whereby a solenoid spring clutch 18 is excited and linked up till the top of the paper stack is forcibly pressed to a feed roller, and a lifting belt takeup shaft 6 rotates in an arrow A direction, causing a paper feeding table 3 to go upward, so that a continuous rating current to the spring clutch is cut off by a detector when the top of the paper stack is forcibly pressed to a roll, thus a lifting belt 4 comes to a stop. Next, when the paper feeding device is drawn out, a pinion engaging a rack being paralleled with this drawing direction rotates, causing the lifting belt takeup shaft 6 to be rotated in an arrow D direction, thus the lifting belt 4 is warmed up, making the paper feeding table 3 go down and paper loading possible to be done.

(Prior Art) A conventional paper feeding device of this kind is shown in FIG. 1 as a conceptual front view, and as shown in FIG. 2 as a left side view. A take-up belt 4 is attached to one end of the paper feed table 3, and the take-up belt 4 is configured to be wound around a take-up shaft 6 via a guide roller 5, A paper feed roller 7 is pressed against the upper surface, and the rotation of the paper feed roller feeds the paper sheet into a copying machine.
A motor 9 is attached to one end of the take-up shaft 6 via a joint 8, and the take-up shaft is rotated by the rotation of the motor 9 as the number of sheets decreases, and the paper is fed into a paper feeding table. 3 is raised, and the horizontality of the paper feed tray is maintained by a horizontal maintenance wire 11 that is wound around rollers 10, 10 attached to the lower end of the paper feed tray as shown in the figure. Ta. With this configuration, when the paper feeder 2 is pulled out in the direction of the arrow in FIG. After replenishing paper, the paper feeder 1 is inserted, and the motor 9 is rotated in the forward direction to raise the paper stack P to a position where the upper surface thereof comes into pressure contact with the paper feed roller 7. However, such a paper feeding device requires an independent motor, which is not suitable in terms of manufacturing cost and power consumption. There are disadvantages such as the time required to do so becomes so-called loss time. Further, a worm gear and a worm wheel each having a built-in one-way clutch are attached to the heald winding shaft 6, and a pinion is provided in conjunction with the worm gear.
By meshing this with a rank installed parallel to the pull-out direction of the outer box, the paper feed device is structured so that the paper feed stand will fall down when the outer box is pulled out, no matter where the paper feed stand is located. was also proposed (Japanese Patent Application No. 57-66217), but still, after feeding the paper and inserting the outer box, it is necessary to raise the paper feed tray until the top surface of the paper reaches the required height, and When the upper surface of the paper stack P descends, there remains a drawback in that a dedicated motor is required to raise the paper feed table to compensate for the lowering of the upper surface of the paper stack P.

(Structure of the Invention) The present invention allows the paper feeding device to be pulled out by interlocking with a pinion that meshes with a rank provided parallel to the drawing direction of the paper feeding device via a wire for raising and lowering the paper feeding tray or a heald ring groove. When the paper feed tray is lowered, the drive force of the motor of the main body of a copying machine is intermittently transmitted to the take-up shaft via the clutch, so that the paper feed tray moves up the take-up shaft. Also in the present invention, the paper feeding device 1 is provided with an outer box 2 and a paper feeding table 3, and one end of the paper feeding table is suspended by a lifting wire 4, and the lifting wire is wound through a guide roller 5. The lift wire 4 is wound up by a take-up shaft 6, and a paper feed roller 7 is pressed against the upper surface of the paper stack P to send the paper sheets one by one to a copying machine, printing machine, etc., starting from the topmost sheet.
When pulling out the paper feeder 1, the joint 8 is removed, and after the paper feeder is inserted, the joint 8 is connected, and the take-up shaft 6 is rotated in the forward direction to raise the paper feeder. The structure is similar to that of the conventional paper feeding device described above, in which the paper feeding table is maintained horizontally by hanging the paper feeding tray.

On the other hand, for the sake of detailed explanation of the present invention, the driving force transmission mechanism will be explained first. FIG. 3 is a rear view showing the driving force transmission mechanism of the entire copying machine, and FIG. 4 is a side view showing the structure near the joint. However, within the copying machine 12, the driving force of the main motor 9 is transmitted via the chain 13 to each rotating part within the copying machine main body, and the driving force is transmitted from one sprocket 14 driven by the chino to another chino 15. The driving force of the sprocket 16 is transmitted to the joint 8 via the reduction gear 17, 17'. The driving force of the reduction gears 17 and 17' which receives the driving force of the main motor 9 is transmitted to and from the joint 8 by an electromagnetic spring clutch 18.
The joint 8 is configured to come into contact with and separate from a joint provided at one end of the winding shaft 6. The winding shaft 6 is pivotally supported by the paper feeder 1, so when the paper feeder 1 is inserted, the joint 8
are connected, and the joint 8 is configured to be released when the paper feeding device is pulled out. In addition, the electromagnetic spring clutch 1
8 is configured to be energized and excited by a signal issued from a detection device (not shown) until the top surface of the paper stack P comes into pressure contact with the feed roll 7.

As shown in a perspective view in FIG. 5, a worm wheel I9 is pivotally connected to a winding shaft 6 which is pivotally supported on a paper feed tray, and a worm gear 20 that meshes with the winding shaft 6 is connected to a shaft 22 through a one-way clutch 21. A pinion 23 is pivotally connected to one end of the shaft 22. On the other hand, the rack 24 is parallel to the drawing direction of the paper feeder.
The rack 24 and the pinion 23 are configured to mesh with each other. The one-way clutch 21 between the worm gear 20 and its shaft 22 rotates the winding shaft 6 in the direction of the arrow A in FIG. 5, and rotates the pinion 23 in the direction of the arrow B in the same figure. Warm foil 19
.. The worm gears 20 each become non-rotating, and the pinion 2
The winding shaft 6 is installed in a direction in which driving force is transmitted so that when the winding shaft 3 is rotated in the direction of the arrow C, the winding shaft 6 is rotated in the direction of the arrow C in the figure.

Now, when the operator pulls out the paper feeder 1, loads the paper stack P, and inserts the paper feeder, the joint 8 is connected and the paper stack P is pressed until the top surface of the paper stack P comes into pressure contact with the feed roller 7 as described above. Electromagnetic spring clutch 1
8 is excited and connected, and the lifting belt winding shaft 6 is connected to the fifth
The paper feed table 3 is raised by rotating in the direction of the arrow in the figure, and when the upper surface of the paper stack P comes into pressure contact with the roll 7, the power supply to the clutch noch 18 is cut off by the detection device, and the elevating and lowering heald stops. Furthermore, when the top surface of the paper stack P is no longer in pressure contact with the paper feed roll 7 due to the paper being fed out from the paper feed roll 7, the clutch 18 is again energized by the above-mentioned configuration, and the elevating belt winding shaft 6 is rotated to rotate the paper feed tray. Since the paper stack P is raised, the upper surface of the paper stack P is always kept in pressure contact with the paper feed roll P.

Next, when the paper feeder 1 is pulled out, a pinion that meshes with a rank provided parallel to the direction in which the paper feeder is pulled out rotates in the direction of arrow C, rotating the lifting bell 1 to the winding shaft 6 in the direction of the arrow. 1. Therefore, the elevating belt 4 is loosened and the paper feed table 3 is lowered, so that paper can be loaded immediately. By inserting the paper feeding device again after loading the paper, the paper feeding table is raised as described above, and the above process is repeated.

(Other Embodiments) It goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments. For example, the paper feed table elevating lever 1- may be replaced with a wire, or the driving force of a motor may be transmitted. Depending on the chain, the joints can be installed directly on other rotating parts without the need for a special sprocket, and the motor used to obtain the driving force is not limited to the main motor, but can also be installed on other rotating parts. Even if there is a motor, it goes without saying that there is no need to use a dedicated motor for rotating the lifting belt rotating shaft.

(Effects of the Invention) Since the present invention is configured and operates as described above, a special motor is used to raise the paper feed tray when paper is loaded into the paper feed tray and the paper feed device is inserted. do not need. This is extremely important, especially when it comes to the configuration of copying machines, as well as simply reducing manufacturing costs.Copying machines usually use a power source of 100 mm, so the power consumption of the entire copying machine is kept as low as possible. However, copiers have mechanisms such as heating devices that consume a large amount of power.
Although this is an unreasonable design constraint, if a motor for raising the paper feed tray is no longer necessary, the copying machine can be designed with a great deal of flexibility.

Incidentally, since the paper feed tray is lowered when the paper feed device is pulled out, the paper can be loaded immediately, thereby eliminating loss time, and the effects of the invention of Japanese Patent Application No. 57-66217 are not lost.
