Abstract

PURPOSE:An aqueous adhesive, obtained by incorporating an acrylic based emulsion type aqueous adhesive with a basic methine based dye, and capable of producing remarkable effect on elimination of separation of the dye or surface staining, etc. even in a porous material. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous adhesive obtained by adding a mixture of one or two or more of basic methine based dyes in an amount within 0.001-0.1wt% range to an ordinary acrylic emulsion. Not only one-pack type but also two- packed type may be obtained. In this case, the basic methine based dyes are preferably incorporated with a crosslinking agent or gelling agent.

Prior Art and Problems to be Solved Conventionally, for various adhesives, techniques have been developed to determine and confirm the distribution of the adhesive on the surface to ensure uniform application.
In addition, especially in the case of a two-component type adhesive, in order to distinguish and confirm the state at the time of mixing and ensure uniform mixing, it is usually required to color the adhesive by adding a dye or pigment as a coloring agent. Oil-soluble dyes are used in solvent solution type adhesives, and there are no particular problems, but in the case of emulsion type (or water dispersion type) water-based adhesives, in addition to the fact that the dye used is water-soluble, there are also problems with the dispersion resin. Due to the mutual relationship between the dye and the resin due to compatibility, etc., if the dye separates by oral administration after forming a film and causes chalking, or especially if at least one of the materials to be adhered is porous, it may be difficult to Due to aging under normal environmental conditions, such as peeling and drying, the dye migrates through the porous material and separates from the bonded surface, causing the surface to discolor.
It is recognized that phenomena such as contamination occur.

Therefore, the present inventors have conducted extensive research to solve these problems, and found that if a methine compound dye, in particular, is used as a coloring agent for an acrylic emulsion type water-based adhesive, It was discovered that the above-mentioned problems such as separation of the dye and surface contamination can be eliminated, and the present invention has been completed.

It may be selected within the range of 1% to 0.1%. 0.00.05%
If it is less than 0.5%, the dyeability is poor, and if it exceeds 0.5%, it tends to be difficult to put it into practical use because it tends to be expensive from an economic point of view.

The water-based adhesive according to the present invention is prepared by blending a predetermined amount of basic methine thread dye into the above-mentioned acrylic emulsion, and adding conventional preservatives, thickeners, antifreeze agents, pH adjusters, and antifoaming agents as necessary. It is composed of an appropriate amount of tackifier resin, etc. In addition, the adhesive of the present invention is not limited to the one-component type, but may also contain a crosslinking agent suitable for acrylic emulsions (magnesia, soda carbonate, amine, amide compound, etc.).
Alternatively, it also includes a two-component type in which a gelling agent such as a polyvalent metal salt is combined. The two-component type is particularly advantageous when used in an atmosphere with harsh environmental conditions such as hot and cold heating and dry and wet heating, and the good resistance of the basic methine dye can be utilized. It will be done. In addition, in the case of a two-component type, the basic methine yarn dye may be generally blended with a crosslinking agent or a gelling agent.
