Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the dispersion of the dirty air such as the smoke of tobacco into a car interior by installing the inside-air discharging ducts onto the car-interior ceiling part corresponding to drivers' seats and controlling the operation of an inside-air discharging blower communicating to the ducts. CONSTITUTION:On the car-interior ceiling part of a passanger car, inside-air discharging ducts 1 are installed at the positions corresponding to the positions of passengers' seats, and the ducts 1 communicate to an inside-air discharging blower 3 through a group of air hoses 2. An outside-air introducing apparatus 5 and an air conditioning unit 30 are arranged inside an instrument panel A at the driver's seat, and a portion of the introduced air can be discharged into the car interior from an outside-air blowing-out port 7 on a car floor through an outside-air introducing duct 6. When the smoking by a driver is detected by the smoke sensors 8 arranged in the ducts 1, the inside-air discharging blower 3 is operated through a controller, and the outside-air introducing apparatus 5 and the air conditioning unit 30 are operated to compulsorily discharge the inside air to the outside.

Therefore, if the passenger in the front seat smokes, the passenger in the rear seat will naturally be exposed to the smoke, and the passenger in the seat next to him will also be bothered by the smoke. When the intake of outside air is stopped and the internal air circulation air conditioning is activated, the harmful effects of smoking are distributed evenly to other passengers, and a recent study reports that Even in light of experimental data showing that the quality and quantity of harmful components in smoldering smoke from the tip of a cigarette is much greater than in the smoke from the end of the cigarette, conventional vehicle interior ventilation is It is desirable that the method be revised.

Next, in FIG. 4, which is a block diagram showing the configuration of the device of the present invention incorporating a smoke sensor, the signals emitted by the smoke sensor group 8 arranged near each passenger seat are transmitted to the electronic control circuit. 17 analyzes the information and issues a command to the drive circuit 18 that controls the operation of the inside air exhaust blower 3, and at the same time sends an instruction to the drive circuit 19 that operates the outside air introduction device 5. Further, in parallel with these, a control signal is also input to the drive circuit 16 of the inside/outside air switching damper 15 for vehicle interior air conditioning.

When any occupant starts smoking in a vehicle incorporating the above-described system, the smoke sensor 8 near the smoking position issues a signal to the electronic control circuit 17, and the entire air conditioning system including heating and cooling starts functioning. When the heating and cooling system is already in operation, ventilation is added to remove smoke. During this smoke exhaust operation, the signals from the vehicle room temperature setting dial 23 and the air volume adjustment lever 14 of the outside air introduction device 5 do not function effectively. Electronically controls the operation of comparing the maximum value of the signals emitted by each smoke sensor based on the recorded data that determines the optimal ventilation amount for each combination of several levels of temperature difference values. It is determined by what is done within the circuit 17. At that time, the temperature difference value between the inside and outside of the vehicle is determined by the temperature sensor 20.
It can be known by the input from ~22. Then, the electronic control circuit 17 operates the drive circuit 18 of the inside air exhaust blower 3 and the drive circuit 19 of the outside air introduction device 5 at their respective desired speeds based on the command based on the optimum ventilation amount data. On the other hand, the inside/outside air switching damper 1
5, the drive circuit 16 operates simultaneously with the input of the smoke generation signal to switch to the outside air introduction side, corresponding to the inside air exhaust state. The outside air is passed through an air conditioning unit 30 under the control of an electronic control circuit 17 to achieve the desired air mix. To give an example of a specific situation in which the amount of ventilation should be increased or decreased, when the amount of smoke is high but the temperature difference between the inside and outside is not very large, it is often possible to rapidly increase or decrease ventilation by introducing a large amount of outside air without performing an air mix. Provide ventilation. Alternatively, when the amount of smoke generated is small but the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the vehicle is large, a sufficient air mix is applied and the ventilation speed is set to a low state. When the signal from the heating sensor 8 stops, the ventilation operation is stopped, the functions of the vehicle room temperature setting dial A full 23 and the air volume adjustment lever 140 are restored, and the normal heating and cooling operation state is restored. When cigarette smoke begins to fill the interior of the vehicle, the smoke sensor 8 and the electronic control circuit 17 work together to quickly start smoke evacuation without requiring any human intervention, and the smoke evacuation ends. Afterwards, the driver can once again enjoy the comfortable environment inside the vehicle due to the operation of the automatic air conditioner 30.

Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 1, by providing an outside air blowing lower on the floor of the passenger compartment, smoke diffusion can be prevented by the air curtain effect in parallel with the above-mentioned υ1 smoke operation.

Next, as another embodiment of the present invention, the case where the manually operated device of the present invention is incorporated will be explained with reference to the block diagram shown in FIG. 5. Turn the switch on the ventilation control dial 24, which also serves as a switch for starting operation and a dial for increasing/decreasing ventilation speed, to O.
At the same time, this electric signal is input to the electronic control circuit 25 by turning the volume appropriately according to the amount of smoke generated, and first, the drive circuit 16 of the inside/outside air switching damper 15 instructs the outside air introduction state. At the same time, signals are also sent to the drive circuits 18 and 19 of the inside air exhaust blower 3 and the outside air introduction device 5, respectively, and the blower 3 and the outside air introduction device 5 start operating. The rotational speeds of the blower 3 e and the outside air introduction device 5 are determined in accordance with the largest specified ventilation speed value sent from the ventilation control dial group 24 . This method is characterized by the fact that it leaves room for consideration of different people's sensibilities regarding the degree of ventilation in the vehicle interior, and it is also inexpensive in terms of cost. FIG. 6 shows a plan view of the ventilation control die 24.

In addition, methods for automatically ventilating the vehicle interior are not limited to smoke sensors; for example, a sensor that detects C○ and CO2 in the vehicle interior is installed, and the signal from this sensor is input to the control device to operate the ventilation system. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the outside air taken in by the outside air introduction device 5 is discharged into the passenger compartment from the outside air Suita lower provided on the floor. As shown in the figure, if a method is adopted in which outside air for ventilation is introduced into the passenger compartment from the vent outlet 40 provided on the instrument panel A in front of the driver's seat instead of the floor outlet, the device of the present invention can be applied to existing vehicles. It is also easy to use.
