Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time to produce the NC data and to avoid the miss- selection of information by displaying an information input area on a CRT screen. CONSTITUTION:An information input area setting device of an automatic NC data producer is provided with a CRT1 and a coordinate input device 2 which contains a memory and a tablet 3 at the front side. Here plural information input areas 6 are provided at a part of the screen of the CRT1. Each area 6 displays a part of the operation information stored in a memory of the device 2, and this operation information is replaced with switch of the screen. For production of the NC data, the desired information is selected out of the area 6 by operating a stylus pen 5 at a prescribed position on the tablet 3. Thus the NC data is produced with repetition of said selection of information.
