Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the fluctuation of the thickness of liners so as to obtain stable running torque, by constituting a disk cartridge of a center window, head window, liners putting a recording medium in between them, and a hard case which is equipped with a liner fitting section whose thickness is made thicker than the basic thickness of the hard case and divided into upper and lower parts. CONSTITUTION:The thickness 12 of hard cases 2a and 2b at a liner fitting section 8 is set about 4/3 times thicker than the basic thickness 10 of the hard cases 2a and 2b and the thickness 13 of liners 7a and 7b (under a non-loaded condition) is set to 1/5 or less of the thickness 12 of the hard case 2a and 2b at the liner fitting section 8. In the case of the hard case thus constructed, the thickness of the liner fitting section 8 of the hard cases 2a and 2b becomes thicker and their formability is improved. In addition, the curvature of the surface is minimized and flow of the resin at the time of forming is improved. 的に押付ける。捷だディスク状記録媒体1と下ライナー
7bは板バネ6により押付けられている箇所以外でも接
触がなされ、これらライナー71L、7bとディスク状
記録媒体1との接触によりディスク状記録媒体1に付着
したゴミ、ホコリ等をクリーニングする。

においては製法上の理由から±76μm程度のバラツキ
は不可避なものである。現在使用しているライナー7a
g7bは上述と同じく約9o○μm(無負荷時測定)程
度の厚さのライナーであり、以上のようにこの厚さでは
ランニングトルクの値が大きくバラついてしまい、ディ
スク状記録媒体1を回転駆動するモーターへの悪影響が
非常に大きい。

ドケースの厚さを、前記ハードケースの基本厚さようも
厚くしたことを特徴とするディスクカートリッジ。
