Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the cooking apparatus by noticing a user of the opening and closing state of a valve through a buzzer or the like. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 2 opens a principal valve 3 by means of an ignition switch 1. Simultaneously, a manually-operated safety valve 4 is opened. A gas passes through a gas pipe reaching a burner 5 and being ignited. After ignition, a control valve 8 is opened and closed by a signal from a cooking menu switch 6 and a signal from a sensor 7 thereby to carry out automatic cooking. After the control circuit 2 detects completion of cooking or when an accidental fire is detected by a thermocouple 9, a closing signal is fed to the principal valve 3 to close the same. When an extraordinary matter such as an accidental fire or the like occurs, the principal valve 3 is closed by the control circuit 2. However, the manually-operated safety valve is kept open unless a fire-extinguishing switch 10 is pushed.
