Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable perfect brazing, by a method wherein a short fitting cylinder disposed axially and connected to the inner peripheral edge of an annular plate is fitted into a window hole provided in a fitting plate constituting a part of a radiator so that an outer peripheral part of the annular plate makes close contact with the fitting plate, followed by brazing. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 33 is provided in a base end of the outer surface of the fitting cylinder 32 connected to the annular plate 31, whereby a curved part 27 is removed. The fitting cylinder 32 is fitted into the window hole 12 of the fitting plate 4 so as not to slip off, whereby the annular plate 13 and the fitting plate 4 make close contact with each other, so that perfect brazing can be performed, and the inner surface of the cylinder 32 constitutes a fitting hole 36. Accordingly, a highly reliable fitting hole can be easily formed in the fitting plate constituting a part of the radiator, and an end of the fitting hole is naturally chamfered, so that an anti-vibrating rubber can be easily inserted.
