本発明を以下図に示す実施例に基いて詳述する。本発明
に係る出窓型洗面ユニットは、下部に洗面ボウル２を収
容した箱型の洗面ユニット１が前後両端部を夫々夫々室
内外に突出させて建物の室内外を仕切る壁４に設けた関
口部５内に収納され、洗面ボウル２より延出する排水管
３が室内側に突出する洗面ユニット１底面より下方に突
出したことを特徴とするものである。洗面ユニット１は
、第３図乃至第５図に示すように、前面が閉口する矩形
枠内の下部に洗面ボウル２を装着して構成され、室外に
突出する後面及び側面後端部に鏡や窓６が設けられてい
る。洗面ボウル２の下端に連結される排水管３は洗面ユ
ニット１の底面前端部から下方へ一直線に突出していて
、第２図に示すように、前後両端を夫々室内外へ突出さ
せて壁４の開口部５に洗面ユニット１を収納した場合に
、排水管３が室内側に洗面ユニット１底面より突出して
、床下に通した配管７に接続される。第２図中８は洗面
ボウル２の給水栓９に接続される給水管である。このよ
うに床下の配管７に接続される排水管３は第４図及び第
５図に示すように、室内側に突出する部分の洗面ユニッ
ト１下部より突出しているため、従釆のように、洗面ュ
ニッ．トの下部前面より排水管を前方に引出す必要がな
く、洗面ユニットを使用する人間に足元に邪魔になるこ
とがないと共に、洗面ユニット１の下方に突出する排水
管３がそのまま床下の配管へ直接接続でき、配管作業が
容易となるものである。また、排水管３が室内に露出す
るのを防止する場合は、第６図に示すように、カバー１
０を洗面ユニット１の下端と床との間に敬着すれば、洗
面ユニット１とカバー１０とが一体物として感じられ、
全体が洗面ユニット１として整然と壁に収められた外観
が得られる。尚、上記の実施例では、洗面ユニット１の
底を床より上方に位置させて壁４に装着した例を示した
が、本発明は必ずしも上記の実施例のみに限定されるも
のではなく、第７図及び第８図に示すように、洗面ユニ
ット１の両側板１１，１１を床面上に合致させ、洗面ボ
ウル２下端より延出する排水管３を底板１２を通して洗
面ユニット１内で床下の配管に接続するようにしてもよ
い。この場合、向図に示すように、洗面ユニット１の下
