Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a record carrying means and to reduce the number of parts and the number of manhour required for assembling by transmitting the power of a driving means to the carrying means and operating the record carrying means. CONSTITUTION:The roller 11 of an interlocking means is abutted on a conical surface provided to a turntable driving motor 2 and another conical surface provided to a rotary ring 3. The rotation of the turntable driving motor 2 is transmitted to the rotary ring 3 and it is used as a motive force for a record carrying mechanism. In non-abutting case, the rotation of the motor 2 is not transmitted to the rotary ring 3 even when the motor 2 rotates. Moreover, an elevating ring 5 can be moved in the ascending and descending directions when the rotating direction of the motor 2 is changed. Since the rotating force of the motor 2 is used for making the ascending and descending operations of the elevating ring 5, no driving motor which is exclusively to be used for the carrying means is required.
