In an electric kotatsu equipped with a tower 3 consisting of an outer frame 1 and legs 2 fixed to the outer frame 1, an appropriate number of mounting recesses 22 are provided on the bottom surface 21 of the legs 2, and the legs 2 are engaged with the mounting recesses 22 for attachment and detachment.
