【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は筆記具の軸筒の製造方法に関する。[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a barrel for a writing instrument.
一般にキャップ方式の筆記具ではキャップを冠着した場
合に、キャップが軸筒の外面にのってキャテプの外面が
軸筒の外面より一段高くなったものと、軸筒の外面にキ
ャップの肉厚と同寸法の段差を設けてキャップを嵌着し
た場合にキャップの外面と軸筒の外面とが面一になるよ
うぬしたものとがある。これらを比較すると後者に比べ
外観が面一になることですつきりしデザイン上有利であ
ると考えられこの方式が採用されることが多い。ところ
で軸筒の外面に段差を形成することはプラスチック製の
場合は一体成形により容易に実施できるが、ステンレス
等の金属製の場合はわりと困難である。即ち研削や絞り
等の加工により形成しようとする極めて手間がかかつて
非効率的になる。従って金属製の軸筒の場合は従来の外
径の異なる2つのパイプ体を螺着して構成する方法が殆
ど採られてきたがそのためコストアップにつながる欠点
があった。本発明は斯る欠点を解消して簡便な方法によ
り金属製軸筒の外面に段差を形成し得る製造方法の提供

備え、パイプ体2をパイプ体1の内孔部に圧入し又は挿
入して接着剤等によりもしくはへンダづけ等により固着
して、パイプ体2を接続したパイプ体1の端部に段部な
形成することを特徴とすることにより、2つのパイプ体
を単に組み付けるだけで製造を完了させ、段差形成のた
めの研削や絞り等の加工やネジ部の形成等を不要にする

良いし、又は逆に外周(1)の中央部を僅かに凹ませて
