Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the protection of a tape player and at the same time to ascertain the quality of tape by actuating automatically an injection mechanism when a fault occurs during a play. CONSTITUTION:When a tape reverse signal is produced from a generating circuit 12, the 1st counter 10 is reset to start measurement for 5sec. At the same time, the signal is supplied also to the 2nd counter 11 to count 1. The tape reverse signal is not produced for a while as long as a normal actuation is secured. Then the 2nd counter 11 is reset by the output of the counter 10.
