The specific structure of a rotary head device used for such a purpose is, for example, as shown in FIG. A rotary support shaft 5 is rotatably supported by a pair of bearings 3.4, and a head base 7 on which a magnetic head 6 is attached is fixed to this support shaft 5. A rotary guide drum 8 is further attached to the head base 7, and the magnetic head 6 is connected to a fixed side via a terminal plate 9 and a rotary transformer 10. The disadvantage of such a conventional rotary head device is that it has a large number of parts, especially the rotating part, which is connected to the head base 7 with the magnetic head 6 and the boss part of the head base 7 by press fitting. rotating guide drum 8
It is composed of. Further, the magnetic head 6 must accurately draw a circular locus on a predetermined plane perpendicular to the axis of the rotation support shaft 5. That is, it is necessary to reliably prevent the surface runout of the magnetic head 6. Therefore, in a state where the head base 7 is rotatably supported via the rotation support shaft 5, the head mounting surface 11 on which the magnetic head 6 is attached is machined, and then the magnetic head 6 and the rotation guide drum 8 are attached. There must be. Therefore, there arises a disadvantage that the number of assembly steps increases. For example, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-38328, a groove is formed in the head disk, and a screw with a wedge-shaped head is screwed into the groove to adjust the height of the magnetic head. By doing so, the head mounting does not require any machining after the surface 11 is assembled. However, in this case, the surface runout of the magnetic head cannot be prevented unless the height of the magnetic head is adjusted after assembly. Therefore, according to such a structure, although the number of assembly steps is reduced, the number of adjustment steps is further increased, resulting in an increase in cost. KObject of the Invention The present invention has been made in view of these problems, and it reduces the number of parts of a rotating head device, and
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for assembling a rotating head device that eliminates the need for adjustment to prevent surface runout of the head after assembly. KSummary of the Invention 1 The present invention provides a recording method in which a head is mounted so as to face the outer peripheral surface of a rotating guide drum, and this head is rotated together with the guide drum while being brought into contact with a tape-shaped recording medium wound around the drum. and/or a method for assembling a rotary head device for regeneration, characterized in that the attachment processed after the rotary guide drum is assembled is such that the head is directly attached to a surface. By assembling in this manner, there is no need for a head base, and there is no need for height adjustment to prevent the head from wobbling after assembly. K Embodiment The present invention will be described below with reference to an illustrated embodiment. FIG. 2 shows a rotary head device according to this embodiment, and this rotary head device is equipped with a fixed guide drum 16.7 A stator 18 of a rotary transformer 17 is fixed to the upper surface of the fixed guide drum 16. A pair of circular grooves containing coils 19 are formed on the upper surface of the stator 18. Furthermore, a boss 20 is formed in the center of the fixed guide drum 16 so as to extend downward, and this boss 20 forms a bearing housing. The bearing housing 20 holds a pair of bearings 21,22. A pair of upper and lower bearings 21 and 22 held in the bearing housing 20 rotatably support the rotating support shaft 23. The upper part of the rotary support shaft 23 is press-fitted into the center hole 25 of the disk-shaped rotary guide drum 24, so that the rotary support shaft 23 and the rotary guide drum 24 are fixedly connected to each other. The rotor 2'6 of the rotary transformer 17 is attached to the lower surface of the drum 24, and the rotor 26 has a circular groove in which a pair of coils 27 are housed so as to face the coil 19 of the stator 18. is formed. Next, I will explain how to assemble this rotary head device, especially how to attach the magnetic head.As shown in FIG. In order to attach the head of the drum 24, the surface 28 is machined using a cutting tool 29, for example. This processing is done in order to prevent the head attached to the surface 28 from wobbling and to correctly draw a circular trajectory on a predetermined plane perpendicular to the axis of the rotation support shaft 23. It is. A part of the outer periphery of the fixed guide drum 16 is cut out to form a notch 30 as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 so that the head mounting surface 28 can be machined using the bit 29. has been done. Note that this notch 3
0 is formed in a portion where the magnetic tape 31 is not wound, as shown in FIG. In this way, the rotating guide drum 24 is
After rotatably assembled, the head mounting surface 28 is machined using a cutting tool 29. After this processing, a magnetic head 32 is attached to the surface 28 as shown in FIG. The magnetic head 32 is connected to the coil 27 of the rotor 26 of the rotary transformer 17 via a terminal plate 33. Therefore, this magnetic head 32 can exchange signals with the fixed side via the rotary transformer 17, and the magnetic tape wound around the outer peripheral surfaces of the fixed guide drum 16 and the rotating guide drum 24 can be Recording and/or reproduction can be performed by bringing the recording head into contact with the magnetic head 32. As described above, according to the rotary head device according to this embodiment,
- Since the magnetic head 32 is mounted directly on the surface 28 of the rotating guide drum 24, a head base is not required, which reduces the number of parts and reduces costs. It becomes like this. Furthermore, the head mounting surface 28 of the rotating guide drum 24 can be machined using a cutting tool 29 after assembly due to the cutout 30 of the fixed guide drum 16. This makes it possible to prevent the surface runout of the magnetic head 32. Therefore, by mounting the magnetic head 32 on the surface 28, the head mounting process performed after assembly eliminates the need for height adjustment of the magnetic head 32 after assembly. This also makes it possible to reduce costs. Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention is capable of attaching the head directly to the mounting surface processed after the rotating guide drum is assembled. Therefore, according to the present invention, there is no need for a head base, which reduces the number of parts.Furthermore, the head is attached to the surface of the rotary guide drum after assembly. This eliminates the need for adjustments to prevent surface runout, and reduces the number of assembly steps.
