Conventionally, insulation protection pipes have been used in a fixed length for handling reasons, and when used in conjunction, they have been connected by a joint provided at the end of the protection pipe. However, there are various types of joints. There are various shapes, and among them, there are those in which the end of the protective tube is processed to make it connectable, or those in which a connectable joint is bonded by solvent or heat.

This proposal was made to eliminate these drawbacks, and provides an insulated protective tube with a joint, in which male and female joints manufactured separately are connected by constructing the joint part with a composite resin of the same quality as the protective tube body and the joint. This is what I am trying to do.

The synthetic resin cylindrical body 1 is cut along one vertical line, and the parallel legs 3, 3' of the cut part 2 are continuously shaped by extrusion molding so that they can be protruded, and then cut to a predetermined length, and both ends are cut. Protective tube body A with weld grooves 17°18 provided in welded parts 15 and 16 of the parts.
In this case, a locking groove 6 is provided in the center of the joint cylinder 5, which has a trumpet-shaped end 4 at one end and a slightly larger diameter than the protective tube so that the protective tube can be inserted. A female joint B shown in FIG. 2 is provided on the outer periphery of a welding part 7 that welds to the pipe body, and a welding groove 8 and a welding hole 19 are provided on the outer periphery of the weld part 7, and a female joint B is provided on the other end with the same shape as the protective pipe body. A welding part 11 is provided with a latching collar 10 that fits into the latching groove 6 of the joint B and is welded to the protective pipe body.
A male joint C shown in FIG. 3, which has a welding groove 12 and a welding hole 20 on its outer periphery, is positioned so as to separate a small gap 21 from the protective pipe body, and is made of the same material as the protective pipe body and each joint. This is an insulating protection tube with a joint that is connected by forming joint parts 13 and 14 with molten resin.

The protection tubes are connected by fitting the locking groove of the female joint with the locking collar of the male joint attached to the other protection tube.

Welding grooves and welding holes are provided in the welding parts of the protective tube body and each joint, or the welding resin that forms the joint is press-fitted and when welding, it is also press-fitted into the welding groove and welding hole, making the welding extremely strong. It is effective in that it can.

In addition, the joints can be formed by press-fitting molten resin while holding the protective tube body and each joint in place with a mold so that they are spaced apart from each other. The joints are joined and welded. Therefore, by increasing the distance between the protective tube and each joint, the amount of molten resin increases, and accordingly, the retained heat increases, resulting in even more secure welding.

Moreover, the joints are not one-sided, consisting of the outer surface of the protective tube and the inner surface of each joint, as in the past, but the surfaces of the welded portions 15 and 16 of the protective tube and the welded portions 7 and 11 of the joints. At the same time, each end face portion is also welded, so the welding area becomes large, and as mentioned above, the molten resin is also press-fitted into the welding groove and the welding hole, resulting in extremely efficient and firm welding.

The present invention is constructed in this way, and since the connection between the protective pipe body and each joint is extremely strong, there is no fear that it will easily come apart due to changes over time, and it is extremely effective in terms of safe work execution. .
