Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a composite metallic plate for ornamentation having more varied and regular patterns by superposing plural kinds of metallic plates or square wire rods having different colors as specified and uniting the same to one body by diffusion welding then cutting the plate at a prescribed width. CONSTITUTION:For example, three kinds of metallic plates A, B, C having different color tones are superposed on each other and are joined to one body by diffusion welding, by which the 1st cladding material 1 is obtd. The material 1 is cut along the plane at an optional angle, for example, perpendicular to each mating face of the above-mentioned blank metallic plate to obtain partially the 1st metallic plate 2 having the cut end face where the cut ends of the material 1 are layered. The plates 2 are then superposed on each other in such a way that >=1 kinds of the end faces among the end faces of the respective blank metallic plates appearing on the cut end face of the plate 2 form a prescribed pattern. The superposed plates are joined to one body by diffusion welding, by which the 2nd cladding material 3 is obtd. The material is finally cut along the plane perpendicular to each mating face of the plate 2 and the composite metallic plate 4 having the stripe pattern where the respective square cut ends of the materials A, B, C are continuous in parallel in the respective diagonal directions is obtd.

Conventionally, many methods have been used to manufacture these clad materials, including forge welding, which metallurgically joins metal surfaces, roll pressure welding, explosion bonding, and extrusion methods. In all of these bonding methods, the amount of deformation of the metal material due to the heating and compression process during bonding is extremely large, and it is not only difficult to form regular beautiful patterns, but also the number of layers that can be bonded is limited. 2-5
Stratigraphy was the limit, and even if patterns could be formed, they were extremely monotonous.

(Findings based on research) As a result, multiple single-layer metal plates with a striped pattern were stacked and integrated so that at least one of the end faces of the metal material formed a predetermined pattern. A plurality of square wires of metal materials of different colors or laminated materials bonded to each other are overlapped with each other so that at least one of the end surfaces of the square wires forms a predetermined pattern. A metal composite plate is produced by cutting the integrally joined prismatic material into a predetermined width and separating the metal plate in which the cut surface of the laminated material or the prismatic material forms a pattern derived from the predetermined pattern. Various patterns can be formed on the surface of metal sheets, and if diffusion welding is used to join the metal plates and square wires, 1. It is possible to join a large number of plates or square wires without causing deformation of the metal material. I got this knowledge.

Therefore, the present invention has been made based on the above knowledge, and provides a method for manufacturing a decorative metal composite plate in which a pattern is formed on the surface of a plurality of metal materials having different color tones. A first laminated material made by stacking multiple raw metal plate bases and joining them together by diffusion welding is cut to a predetermined width from a direction that intersects each mating surface of the raw metal plates at an arbitrary angle. do,
Separating a first metal plate in which the cuts of the first laminated material form a layer on the cut surface, and then at least one of the end surfaces of each material metal plate that appeared on the cut surface of the first metal plate. The first metal plates are overlapped and joined together by diffusion welding so that the end faces of the materials form a predetermined pattern. A second laminate material is attached to each of the first metal plates. cutting a predetermined width from a direction intersecting the surface at an arbitrary angle, and separating a second metal plate in which the cut of the second laminated material forms a pattern derived from the predetermined pattern on the cut surface; The metal plate has a pattern based on the arrangement of the materials of the raw metal plate, or in such a method, instead of the second laminated material, square wires of multiple types of metal materials with different tones are used. Each of the plurality of wires is arranged such that at least one material end face of the end faces of the square wire forms a predetermined pattern.
It is characterized by the use of prismatic materials that are stacked on top of each other and joined together by diffusion welding.

A first laminated material 1 is shown in which these laminated materials 1 are stacked on top of each other and joined together, and a first laminated material 1 is cut by cutting such a laminated material 1 along a plane perpendicular to each mating surface of the raw metal plate. FIG. 2 shows a second laminated material 3 in which two metal plates 2 are overlapped and bonded so that the end faces of each material appearing on the cut surfaces form a predetermined pattern. Next, such a joining material 3 is cut again along a plane perpendicular to each mating surface of the first metal plate 2, and the second metal plate thus separated is as shown in FIG. As shown, a metal composite plate 4 having a striped pattern in which the rectangular cuts of the materials A, B, and C of the raw metal plate are arranged in parallel in a diagonal direction is obtained.

FIG. 4 shows a prismatic material 5 in which two types of square metal wires A and B with different tones are arranged alternately in the vertical and horizontal directions and joined together.
A lattice striped pattern is formed on the end face of the prismatic material 5 by two types of metal materials of different colors, and when this is cut along a plane perpendicular to each mating surface of the prismatic wires, a 5th pattern is formed. A metal composite plate 6 having a checkered pattern composed of two different colors as shown in the figure is obtained.

In both of the above figures, the congruent square end faces of the materials of the second laminated material 3 and the prism material 5 are shifted vertically and horizontally by the length of the - side to form a pattern. By changing the thickness of the second metal plate or the cross-sectional dimensions of the rectangular wire, and the selection and arrangement of these combinations, various unusual patterns can be created, such as the wavy pattern shown in Figure 6. Metal composite plates 7 and 8 having a curved pattern as shown in Fig. 7 can also be made, and the cutting direction of the first and second laminated materials or the shape of the cross section of the square wire and the cutting direction of the square column material can also be made. It is clear from the method of the present invention that the shape of the end face of each material can be changed to a rectangle or parallelogram other than a square by making various changes.

In this invention, a metal plate or a square wire is used as the starting material, but if a square wire is used instead of a metal plate, it becomes somewhat troublesome to overlap them, and it is relatively difficult to form a pattern using fine end surfaces of the material. On the other hand, it has the advantage that both the joining process and the cutting process only need to be performed once.

(2) A plurality of rectangular metal wires of different colors are overlapped and diffusion welded so that at least one of the end surfaces of the rectangular wires forms a predetermined pattern. Cut the prismatic material joined together by a predetermined width from a direction intersecting each mating surface of the square wire at an arbitrary angle, and cut the prismatic material with a pattern derived from the predetermined pattern on the cut surface. A decoration in which a pattern is formed on the surface of a plurality of types of metal materials with different tones, characterized in that the metal plate is separated and made into a metal plate with a pattern based on the arrangement of the square wire materials. Method of manufacturing metal composite plate for use.
