PURPOSE:To provide a profiling device which obviates positional deviation in an advancing direction by forming a sensor contactor into a Y shape, lining up the tips of the contactor and the wire part of a torch approximately in alignment in the direction perpendicular to a weld line and disposing the same to a moving body. CONSTITUTION:The contactor 1 of the contact type sensor is formed into the Y shape and the tips 1', 1' of the contactor 1 and the wire part of the welding torch 2 are lined up approximately in alignment in the direction orthogonal with the weld line 18 and are disposed to the front end side of a boom 8 of a moving carriage. 一致を生じさせることなく、溶接トーチ位置を修正せし
め自動溶接を行なうものである。勿論1本発明の溶接ト
ーチ2とY字状接触子lを配設する移動台は、被溶接材
の形状および条件によって現在一般に用いられている装
置で実施できる。
