Description
この発明は、大きな肉厚変化を有する異形断面で軸方向
に屈曲部をもった中空ゴム製品を製造する際に使用する
ゴム製品のブロー成形方法に関する。
ここでは、異形断面で軸方向に屈曲部をもった中空ゴム
製品として、トラックにおけるエンジンとキャビンとの
間の遮音のために使用されるシールコーナ部を例に探り
説明するがこれに限られるものではない。
上記シールコーナ部1は、第1図に示すような形状であ
り、従来は、■中子を有する金型内にゴム材料を注入し
て加硫成形する、■中空部を備えた未加硫の直状押出物
を、屈曲したマンドレルを挿入して加硫成形する等して
製造していた。
しかし、前者の場合は、加硫成形後の製品からの中子の
取り出しが、後者の場合は、マンドレルの製品への挿入
・取り出しが、いずれも手作業であり手間がかかり、ま
た、それらの作業時製品を傷つけたり、変形させたりす
るおそれがあった。さらに、後者の場合は、製品内側の
Rが奇麗にでにくく、製品形状が限定された。この発明
は、上記不具合を解消して、異形断面で鞠方向に屈曲部
をもった中空ゴム製品を容易かつ奇麗に製造できる方法
を提供することを目的とする。
この発明の要旨は、異形断面で軸万向に屈曲部をもった
中空ゴム製品を製造するに際し、所要の屈曲形状をもつ
キャピティを備えた金型に、予めそれそれ押出により用
意された未加硫のゴム管及び異形断面部を構成するため
の禾加硫の補正ゴム材をセット後、ゴム管に加圧流体を
吹き込むことにより膨張させ、さらに、加熱加硫して補
正ゴム材と膨張したゴム管を金型内で一体化するゴム製
品のブロー成形方法にある。
以下、この発明の方法を、図例に基づいて説明する。
第1図に示すような形状のシールコーナ部1は、下記の
順序で製造する。
{1ー 第3〜4図に示すような断面をもつ、未加流の
ゴム管2、及び、異形断面部を構成する未加硫の補正ゴ
ム材3をそれぞれ押出いこより準備する。
ここで、ゴム管2は、肉厚の均一なものとする。偏肉し
ていると後述のブロー成形時肉厚の薄い部分で破れるお
それがある。■ 第2図に示すような、ブロー成形装置
のプレスハンドル5を回転して、金型6,7を関らく。
この金型6,7は第3図に示すように、屈曲部をもつキ
ャビティ9を備えているとともに、昇温・冷却のための
熱媒体流路12を備えている。このとき、金型6,7の
型温は、加熱バルブ10、温調パイプ11を関として、
加圧蒸気を通過させることにより昇温(約100oo)
しておく。
‘3l 次に、第3〜4図に示すように、補正ゴム材3
を金型7のキヤビテイ9に曲げ〈せをつけながらセット
した後、予め用意したインサート42をセットする。
さらに、蒸気導通用のァタッチメント13を前記ゴム管
2の両端に取り付け、ゴム管2もキヤビテイ9にセット

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a method for easily and neatly manufacturing a hollow rubber product having an irregular cross section and a bent portion in the direction of the ball by eliminating the above-mentioned problems. The gist of this invention is that when manufacturing a hollow rubber product having an irregularly shaped cross section and a bent portion in all axial directions, an unprocessed rubber product prepared in advance by extrusion is placed in a mold having a cavity having a desired bent shape. After setting the sulfurized rubber tube and the vulcanized correction rubber material for constructing the irregular cross section, the rubber tube was expanded by blowing pressurized fluid, and then heated and vulcanized to expand with the correction rubber material. As shown in FIG. 3, the molds 6 and 7 are provided with a cavity 9 having a bent portion and a heat medium flow path 12 for heating and cooling. At this time, the mold temperatures of the molds 6 and 7 are controlled by the heating valve 10 and the temperature control pipe 11.

同時に、温調バルブ11も閉じ、金型6,7の温度を加
硫温度(約150℃)近くまで昇温させ−定時間(約1
0分)放置する。このブロー成形により、第5図に示す
よう4に、ゴム管2は蒸気圧で膨張して補正ゴム材3と
融合し一体化されて加熱加硫される。
■ 次に、加熱バルブ10、フロ−バルブ15を閉じ、
温調バルブ1 1、フロー圧調整バルブ16を全開し、
ブロー圧が0になった時点で、プレスハンドル5を回し
、型開きを行ない、製品を金型6,7から雛型する。
続いて、冷却バルブ17を閉るき、金型6,7に水を通
し、型温が所定温度(約100午0)となったら、冷却
バルブ17を閉じ、加熱バルブ10を関らく。
.以降は前記■の工程から再び入り繰り返す。
なお、上記ではブロー用流体として、熱効率の見地から
、加圧蒸気を用いたが、熱空気でもよい。また、図例中
19はビットである。この発明の方法は、上記のような
方法なので、下記のような効果を奏する。
‘a} 大きな肉厚変化を有する異形断面で軸方向に屈
曲部をもった中空ゴム製品を容易に製造できる。
{b】コアやインサートの抜き作業が不要となり、製品
に傷がついたり、変形したりするおそれがなく、全体と
して製造コストが低廉となる。
{c’インサートを一体成形することが容易である。従
来は、製品成形後、ドリル又はポンチでインサート穴を
形成し、インサートを製品中空部から挿入しセットして

製造するに際し、 所要の屈曲形状をもつキヤビテイを
備えた金型に、予めそれぞれ押出により用意された未加
硫のゴム管及び異形断面部を構成するための補正ゴム材
をセツト後、前記ゴム管を加圧硫体を吹き込むことによ
り膨張させ、さらに、加熱加硫して前記補正ゴム材と前
記膨張したゴム管を金型内で一体化することを特徴とす
るゴム製品のブロー成形方法。1.
