Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A receptacle having a plug holding part with an opening formed therein and a sleeve insertion hole communicating with the opening, and attached to a binding part that bundles one end of a plurality of multi-port side optical fiber cables. A sleeve is inserted into the sleeve insertion hole, the receptacle and the sleeve are held together by a case, and a plug attached to one end of a single boat-side optical fiber cable is inserted into the plug holding part. An optical branching/coupling device characterized in that a plug-side end face of the single-port side optical fiber cable and a bundle end face of the multi-port side optical fiber cable face each other when attached.

(2) The plug-attached end of the single-port side optical fiber cable is tapered toward the tip, so that the core part of the plug-side end face is attached to the core gathering part of the bundle end face of the multi-port side optical fiber cable. The optical branching/coupling device according to claim 1, wherein the optical branching/coupling device is characterized in that the optical branching/coupling devices are arranged so that they substantially coincide with each other so that they can overlap.

(3) Expand the bundled part of the multi-port side optical fiber cable in a tapered shape toward the tip, so that the core collection part on the end face of the bundled part approximately matches the outer circumference with the core part on the plug-side end face of the single-port side optical fiber cable. The optical branching/coupling device according to claim 1, characterized in that the optical branching/coupling device is configured such that the optical branching/coupling device can be overlapped.
