PURPOSE:To manufacture a multiple V-groove pulley free from generating top roll by forming a slot groove, having a V-shaped cross section formed at the discoidal outer-peripheral side face, into a way cross-sectional shape, corresponding to the multiple V-groove shape of a final product, at the bottom face. CONSTITUTION:A slot groove S1 having an approximately V-shaped cross section is formed in the outer peripheral side face of a discoidal blank material Q by a slotting roll 1, and its outer peripheral edge is simultaneously compressed to increase its thickness.
