Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and quickly treat cut sheets without the needs for key operation to select papers by determining the preferential orders of mediums to be used in advance. CONSTITUTION:Preferential orders of papers are determined by a setting switch, and various kinds of mediums are selected according to a flow chart and sucked into a printing section. If a setting switch is set at the manual preferential position, for example, the presence or absence of a single slip is detected by a sensor 21. When a single slip is present, a feeding roller 26 is closed, a paper feeding motor 6 is driven, and the single slip is sucked in until detected by the sensor 23. When the single slip is not detected, the presence or absence of cut sheets is detected by a sensor 22, and when the cut sheet is detected, a picking motor 16 and the paper feeding motor 6 are driven to suck the cut sheet 18 until detected by the sensor 23.

ようなプリンタ装置において単票又はカットシートを用
いるときはプリンタ装−〇上部に媒体供給装置を取付は
上方から媒体を供給するようになっていた。しかしこの
ような方法では媒体の挿入位置が高く、また操作者から
遠くなるため操作が困難であった。このため第1図に示
す如きプリンタ装置が提案されている。この装置は図に
示す如くプリンタ本体1と、媒体挿入部10とにより構
成されている。そしてプリンタ本体1には印字を行なう
印字ヘッド2と、該印字ヘッドを搭載しスペースモーフ
3によりガイドシャフト4.4′上を左右に往復駆動さ
れるキャリア5と、紙送りモータ6により回転駆動され
るプラテン7及び連続帳票送り用フプロケソト8゛等を
具備し、筐体の下面に媒体挿入口9が設けられ、ここか
ら供給される媒体を印字ヘッドまで搬送するバスウェイ
途中にはセンサ21と送りローラ26が配置されている
。一方媒体挿入部10にはその上面にプリンタ本体の媒
体挿入口9に対応した位置に開口した媒体送出口11と
、該媒体送出口11に単票等の単独媒体を送り込むため
の媒体ガイド12゜13が設けられ、筐体内部には媒体
ブツシャ14、ピンクローラ15、ビックモータ16等
を具備したカントジ−トスタッカ17が設けられている

ット用紙を使用する場合にはキー操作で用紙を選択しな
ければ成らず操作が煩雑になるという欠点があった; 発明の目的 本発明は上記従来の欠点に鑑み、用紙選択のキー繰作を
必要としないプリンタ装置を提供することを目的とする
ものである。
