Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a discharging of unburnt gas in advance by a method wherein an incoming water temperature sensor is arranged at an incoming water part of a water feeding and heating pipe and a hot water temperature sensor is arranged at a hot water output part and fuel gas to be supplied to a main burner is controlled in response to these outputs. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 12 has as an input the temperature signals sensed by an incoming water temperature sensor 10 and a hot water temperature sensor 11 and a supplying quantity of gas in a control solenoid valve 5 is controlled in such a manner as the hot water temperature becomes constant. In turn, in case that a main burner 1 is not ignited or in case that only a part of the main burner 1 is ignited and a regular combustion is not performed, since the hot water temperature is the same as the incoming water temperature or becomes substantially equal to the incoming water temperature, so when the control unit 12 senses this condition, the main burner 4 is closed to terminate the supplying of gas. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent a danger in advance that the unburnt gas is discharged.

ーナにガスを供給する電磁弁を開いてiたため、パイロ
ットバーナの炎が小さくメーンバーナに着火して−ない
ときでも電磁弁が開−て未燃焼のガスが放出される場合
があった。本発明はこのような危険な状態になるおそれ
のない安全燃焼装置を備えた給湯器のガス燃焼器を提供
することを目的とするものである。
