PURPOSE:To increase the minimum level above ground of a vehicle body for preventing it from coming in contact with the ground, by constructing a Macpherson-strut-type front wheel suspension apparatus such that the connection of a suspension strut to a lower control arm is disposed in an upper position than the axle. CONSTITUTION:A suspension strut 6 is provided with a node 9 in the lower portion thereof. A lower control arm 7 is divided into a presser portion 7a and a body portion 7b, and both portions 7a and 7b have recesses 7a' and 7b', respectively, for slidably clamping said node 9. The presser portion 7a is fixed to the body portion 7b with bolts 10. The other end of the arm 7 and the upper end of the strut 6 are mounted on a vehicle body.
